Hyman has been the 2nd best Oiler forward this year, better than Draisaitl. Guy brings it every night, just a heart and soul guy that any team would give to have.
Well... not any team.

There are plenty of good players that haven’t scored 40 with McDavid though. When he scores 40 not playing with someone named McDavid.
It's like clockwork. You'd think the 18 threads about the Leafs/Matthews, they'd get their fix, lol.Crazy that it took until the very first reply to make this a Matthews/Leafs thread lmfao
Plenty of guys haven't scored 40 with McDavid... aka everyone except Draisaitl and Hyman. When he scores 40 not playing with someone named McDavid.
Being able to play with superstars is a skill in and of itself. There are plenty of good players that haven’t scored 40 with McDavid though.
His ES points didn’t get a huge bump in Edmonton, he just started getting PP1 time on one of the best PPs in the modern era. He didn’t get any in Toronto.

Yes, this reminds me of the amazing year Bernie Nicholls had when playing with Gretzky. When he scores 40 not playing with someone named McDavid.
It's not, the post you're referring to is just drawing a comparison as to how they're both scoring far more goals than assists, but of course you'd try and turn this into a Leafs/Matthews thread lmao.Crazy that it took until the very first reply to make this a Matthews/Leafs thread lmfao
Right so the post comparing him to Matthews isn’t about Matthews? Makes senseIt's not, the post you're referring to is just drawing a comparison as to how they're both scoring far more goals than assists, but of course you'd try and turn this into a Leafs/Matthews thread lmao.
Hyman has 26 even strength goals I believe. He plays on the Oilers top powerplay unit with the best player in the world. Said power play also has another top 10 player on it for good measure.
but there's multiple threads right now dedicated to proving that assists don't matter and it's only the goal scorer who should get the credit....When he scores 40 not playing with someone named McDavid.
And he is the fifth most likely guy to have the puck at any given time on that pp.He plays on the Oilers top powerplay unit with the best player in the world. Said power play also has another top 10 player on it for good measure.
