Was going to ask if we had any opinions on this guy. To be honest I’ve never even heard of him and feel like I haven’t seen his name pop up in the prospect thread. Was surprised he got a contract

Barkov was asked about him yesterday since he played for Tappara. He seemed to like him a lot and said he’s really grown a lot since he was drafted.

That was the tweet my friend, and as far as i know lol

I'm worried they're the ones who are gonna be a negative factor again. The linesman don't really have much to say about the outcome anymore anyway. Offsides are reviewed and as often as a close race for icing really happens...
Letting 3 *blatant* tripping calls go for us then finally call tripping, but on us, (see last TB game) is an unfair and unnecessary factor whether anyone even wants to talk about it or not
I was just wondering if my friend Kyle Flemington made the playoff roster. He's a linesman in the NHL.
I understand main job is to break up fights. He used to be a enforcer in the OHL, mainly with Sarnia. He really has an understanding when it comes to fighting and who is top and who is not. I believe it was last year he saved Swaggy from getting absolutely destroyed by someone early on in the season. I bought him a beer last summer to say thanks for doing that

I like how every series thread in the playoff board has like 200 posts and then the Leafs/Lightning thread has over 1k. Tremendous amount of salt, very entertaining. Can't stand either team so just hoping for a 7 game blood bath. I think Tampa might be preferable for Florida to the Leafs but it's a tossup.

This will be a fun series. Hell of a blood bath. Not sure the Leafs can play that style with Tampa

Either one will be a very tough matchup. Toronto would have a ton of confidence after beating Tampa to slay their first round demons.

I want 7 games with each game going to quadruple overtime

Thinking about it more, I believe the incident I mentioned was last year in the opening Series against Chicago. Someone kind of jumped him, Kyle jumped right in.
His highlight from last season was during a game in Las Vegas. Ryan Reaves was going to fight, and got tripped up at the start and the other linesman went to jump in. He waved the other lineman back, and the two guys proceeded to have the fight of the year.

He is very smart when it comes to fighting.

I'm cautiously optimistic, anxious, confident and bracing for massive disappointment all at the same time.

I can say that I've never felt like this before the playoffs before. I'm really, really looking forward to seeing what happens. So many questions to answer: Can Bob/Knight hold up? Can the offense continue to tear the league apart even in the midst of tight checking hockey? Can we FINALLY win a round? Can we make it out of the east? Can the defense step up? How will Ekblad settle in after a long layoff? How will Bruno perform as a rookie HC with arguably the best on-paper roster in the league?

I just want the games to start already!

He's the on-call linesman for the Toronto-Tampa series. That means he has to attend all the games in Toronto, sit row 1 on in the glass, and get paid half of their playoff wage, which will be 6k us per game.

Pretty sweet gig!

I want Tampa. I want more of that series we got last year, and I want our revenge.
