Bernmeister just needed to throw it out there that way if at some point he plays center, which is most likely never going to happen, he can bump this thread and gloat because he's the only one around here that predicted he'd be a good NHL player in the first place.

But really Kreider at center doesn't make any sense his stick handling is not good, he's smart but he's not a great playmaker and his speed is best used along the boards especially when going up ice.

Only to that 1% who had to be so damn cocksure of themselves, so arrogant, and so condescending, their comeuppance was totally in order.

There was a guy who used to post here. Kershaw. He sometimes asked for it, using an avatar of Bieber, correctly saying Bieber big on hockey, purportedly.

In any event, he would exasperate people, but also provoke within insightful, if not astute, observations.

One day, he got sick of too much crap from a handful of guys and he bolted.
That was unnecessary. Totally. He was welcomed by most of us.

People, we are better than that.

I am not like that. My will cannot be broken. And I give as good as I get.
I am the best guy to have for a friend and the worst for an enemy.

For many reasons, including going back to the "make love not war" generation, I prefer peace and tolerate for the sake of it.

But if I see naked cruelty, whether it is to me or someone else, and I have a chance to extract justice because the topic is not subjective opinion but an objective conclusion of fact, then yeah, I am not going to gloat with everyone at their expense. But I will let those who deserve and have it coming, to have it.

Kreider has a chance to be scary good. Like "how did he ever last until the 18th pick" good. Still a ton of upside but on many nights he's been the best player on the ice.

Yeah it's certainly tantalizing. I think we've seen him take the step to being a legit top sixer who can play on the top line with the right linemates, and the tantalizing bit is seeing if he takes another step to be a real all-star caliber player. I won't be disappointed if he can't do that if he keeps bringing everything else he has so far this year, but I can certainly hope that it happens!
