That hit was a disgrace to hockey. There was a lifetime of contemplation for the player to know that the puck is long gone.

thé puck was already dumped in and the american player wasn’t going for the hit until the slovak player was gliding. He did it because he was frustrated and got the correct call against him.

Should have been 2. He was no where near the boards. If he flys 10 feet to hit the boards because he is unaare of whats going on itsè not boarding. If it was very late though then the call was correct.

Slovak player did turn little just before hit and that is why it was not straight from behind. That was very dirty and dangerous.

Migod, Starman is insufferable on the US feed. Seems to think that his job is to talk over the action, and talk about everything but what is actually happening on the ice. The PbP guy lets him do it- why not try calling the game, or is it too much work indentifying players and describing the play as it happens?
