Why? The slovak player has to have more awareness than that. Its a physical sport, IIHF officiating is a disgrace to hockey. Sooooo soft.gutless hit
Wtf was that. That's not even a late hit, that's just idiotic.
Maybe a little dirty. But I don't think that should be 5.
That hit was a disgrace to hockey. There was a lifetime of contemplation for the player to know that the puck is long gone. Why? The slovak player has to have more awareness than that. Its a physical sport, IIHF officiating is a disgrace to hockey. Sooooo soft.
If it's late, then it's not clean.I agree with Craig. It was a late hit, but "clean" check. 2 mins for interference.

Should have been 2. He was no where near the boards. If he flys 10 feet to hit the boards because he is unaare of whats going on itsè not boarding. If it was very late though then the call was correct. Why? The slovak player has to have more awareness than that. Its a physical sport, IIHF officiating is a disgrace to hockey. Sooooo soft.
Slovak player did turn little just before hit and that is why it was not straight from behind. That was very dirty and dangerous.I agree with Craig. It was a late hit, but "clean" check. 2 mins for interference.
Hence, the quotations. What I meant was that it wasn't boarding (it was a side hit), I don't agree with that. Anyways, this is IIHF and I'm almost always wrong with my assessment. If it's late, then it's not clean.
