A good start by Slovakia shattered by some bad coaching. USA took control from thereon. Game still close.

The late penalty was stupid, but that aside, Nemec was great that period, Hughes too

I was critical of both their first games, but they looked like their elite selves there

I can't believe the Devils already stacked D is adding those two in the coming years

Also really liked Ufko and Cooley that period. Keller - Cooley has the potential to be so much fun

The French commentators on TV are saying that in their opinions the goal will not be good. Tells you of the quality of the French broadcast (Norman Flynn and Michel Lacroix are worst then the others)

Slovak play by play guys were saying it's a good goal. Bad challenge by Fenes.

One area where this team really seems to be lacking is forwards that can carry the puck IMO. Last 10 minutes we've been losing the puck at the Slovak blue line over and over.
