If we get one on this PP, then I like our chances of winning. If we don't, then I'm a bit worried.
Dude, relax, that’s a clean hit in any North American leauge. This Connors guy is is a psychopath or what? You are down 2-4, have been playing bad the entire period, desperately need to do something to ignite a new spark in the team. Well, a dirty boarding foul on a player without the puck definitely isn't the right way to achieve that. I know he's a junior player but this was plain stupidity which may well make it game over for the US.
A surprising period overall, Slovakia came back big, while the US left everything good from the first period behind in the locker room. Didn't expect that at all.
I don't know from what age you are, but the NHL rulebook on boarding is pretty much identical to IIHF's and this was clear boarding by NHL rulebook standards as well.IIHF and North American reffing are completely different things.
That is a solid, clean hit, but the IIHF is notoriously soft on plays like that.
I don’t like it, but I can’t say it’s not the expected call.
But imagine he was here....WHO NEEDS SLAFKOVSKY LOL
how is that clean? The puck was long gone.IIHF and North American reffing are completely different things.

Protect yourself instead of admiring your pass, when an opposing forward is closing on you from 3 feet.
Letter of the law, and enforcement of the law, are two different things.I don't know from what age you are, but the NHL rulebook on boarding is pretty much identical to IIHF's and this was clear boarding by NHL rulebook standards as well.
Dude, the puck was gone for one second, maybe two if ya wanna round up.how is that clean? The puck was long gone.
Well then if we go by your anecdotal assessment, the refs in North America must be really bad enforcers...Letter of the law, and enforcement of the law, are two different things.

Game was close in the first with a bad coach challenge by Slovakia, with Slovakia the better team for the duration of the 2nd scoring 3 goals.Just opened the game and WTF ?!
Yeah I love the part during every WJC/Olympics where people who either completely misunderstand or simply don't care about the rules argue that they are right. No idea how anyone watches that hit and thinks its clean lol.
