He's playing in the slovak league finals for now.

He will play. He has a good shot from the point, a great one-timer and lots of experience.

And is right handed. Hes our only right handed offensive D-man on the roster.
 
I know, I am a big fan of Lintner and Slowakia. Lintner was a keyplayer at the wc 2002 where the team won the gold medal a he was all the time in the roster when Slowakia plays wc or olympic games. He has a great one timer like you said and he is overall a great player:), but the problem is that Richard didn't play really often this season and he had a lot of blessure:( I hope really you have right and Richard Lintner will play and Slowakia wins another gold medal:)

He will play (unless he gets injured).

And I hope we do win the gold medals ;).
 
Id say its 50-50 if he plays or now. The coach gave Lubo the next week off to rehabilitate and that they will talk Friday night.

Thats the part of the camp which goes to SWE and DEN. The other half (including Chara, Lasak among other) will stay in Trencin.

Also Demitra's chances of going to the WC's increased a bit IMO, as he said that there is a possibility of going to the WC's. I hope he goes :yo: .

Damn, put those "halves" together you got one good team.
 
Fun fact: Martin Hujsa is 139 lbs heavy. He just WONT go due to his weight (and he aint good enough for the WC's too but he would get smoked in international play).

Handzus played for HKm Zvolen. His linemates were Zednik and Orszagh, but he was the leader of whole team. He will be a key player of Slovak team.
Simonovic had solid deason, but our young goalies like Lasak and Stana are better. He is not considered as National team candidate anymore.

He is good but we have young goalies stepping up in the depth chart. Hed be like no.6-9 right now.
 
Svatos any chance to get team or budaj?

budaj has been monster this year in AHL, hopefully he gets a chance. (Slovak don't have so great goaling thought..?)

Budaj will probably join the team. Dont know about Svatos though. We are deep at the wings.
 
Wont happen.

Atleast not in the group stage. We have a hard group and Lasak/Stana should play all games, and probably only Lasak will play. Budaj will be the no.3 and gain experience.
