Chicago has two elite goalie prospects: Drew Commesso and Adam Gajan. Next to the Red Wings they have the best prospect duo in net.An elite goalie prospect lol.

Laine was just traded for Bozak and a 2nd.Umm, Yager was just traded for Laine. Try to keep up.
Schneider was much much better or at least more proven.I have to assume pretty happy. Can anyone even name a bigger return for a goalie in recent memory? Cory Schneider for the Horvat pick at the draft?
On paper he was.Schneider was much much better or at least more proven.
Don't see how those guys are much different than the Hawks Nazar/Moore/Boisvert/Vanacker at F.Dickinson, Walman, Mukmahdullin, Thrun
Makes you wonder what Askarov could’ve garnered if he was given 20-25 starts in the NHL this season.I have to assume pretty happy. Can anyone even name a bigger return for a goalie in recent memory? Cory Schneider for the Horvat pick at the draft?
He was a stud in NJ for years. On paper he was.
Then he proved to be as good at stopping pucks as that piece of paper.
Without much cap room it's much more likely we try to move up with our 1st and Vegas and Tampas 1st.This is actually the perfect trade for a team aiming to win in the playoffs. 3 smaller assets are way better for the depth load up at the TDL. Trotz is a smart man.
Oh, so that's how McGroaty ended up a Blue Jacket. Makes ferpect sents.Umm, Yager was just traded for Laine. Try to keep up.
Edstrom is a super role player+ where he's probably at least a good 3rd liner but is producing to the point where there's potential for more.IIRC from what Knights fan said during the Hertl trade, Edstrom sucks and really had no business being a 1st rounder. Is this still true? As a Preds fan I need to know so I can be mad.
Only 1 3rd. They traded 1 to move Glass and another in this deal. Still have their own though.Nashville now has 3 firsts, 2 seconds, and 2 thirds while already going all-in on free agency.

Good callOnly 1 3rd. They traded 1 to move Glass and another in this deal. Still have their own though.
He's probably gonna play in the AHL this year.Well you wanted to play in the big leagues right Askarov? Good luck
Bystedt wouldve been my preference as well. I wonder if Trotz had a choice there or not. Edström does sound like a Trotz player with a good two way game and some tenacity thoughI think Bystedt would have been a better grab but Edstrom is no slouch. He will be useful.
Is Nabokov still active in the SJS community? This might be an underrated good landing spot for Askarov's development even if Nabokov isn't even part of the management team for SJS.
