Poor Vinny though, he's played his heart out every game so far only for the rest of the team to go out there and take a dump on the ice. (Well except quick of course)

That's easy to recoup. Trade Muzzin for a crazy return and upgrade to Yandle. :)

Seriously though the Kings won't have the cap space to address the top 6 and defense for next year if Brown is still on the team.

kings also lacking that certain mojo this year... they lack that inner confidence that pushed them over the top in 12 and 14

dare i say it, but i miss guys like williams, mitchell, stoll ...and richards lol

There's no intensity in the team. Doughty and Quick are it. Kopitar, Brown, Carter are all quiet leaders.
 
I think Carter has been injured all year.

Ever since he took that wrist slash, and was out. He came back totally ineffective the rest of the year.

Yep. I think he'll have surgery in the off-season. His shots have been crap ever since returning and he's still having some difficulty handling the puck.
 
Fatigue is no longer an excuse either.

One more loss, and the Kings will have had two very long off-seasons B2B.

Who gives a **** about the cap space, there are no PLAYERS out there available to upgrade this team. Even if Brown decided to go live in a nudist colony this summer and the Kings got out of his cap hit scott free, there aren't any players out there to sign that improve the team.

We all knew what would be trouble for the Kings. The Sharks are just exploiting it. If I was DeBoer I would exploit that, too. It's so easy. It just boggles the mind that all the Kings coaching staff, especially Sutter, don't see that!

That San Jose power play is great. They're absolutely picking the Kings apart. The Sharks are using the Kings aggressiveness on the penalty kill against them. Quick stick to stick passes lead to quality chances.

The Kings aren't playing that poorly except special teams. They got two days to figure that part out. Win on Friday and pressure's on again. Of any team, the Kings know how to get back in it.
