Really liking this new design. It's so much better on mobile that it's kind of comical.
 
Is there any way to hide the metadata of a poster (the post count, location, join date etc)?

On desktop short posts it ends up making them quite large with a lot of white space at the bottom, stretching out the page. Looks cleaner on mobile.
 
So did all the old threads disappear? I know we lost like 48-72 hours worth of posts based on threads I was active in, however search returns nothing, and when going through google it doesn't bring up the page.

We had a lot of polls this summer that would be nice to have to reflect on. Will be disappointed if this is the case.

I've always wanted to hide my post count or have it wiped out but was told it wouldn't be done.

I had Avatars hid on the old site, it doesn't look like that feature is available here.

I noticed as well that there doesn't seem to be a profanity filter or at least not a complete one.

It introduces a dark theme, that actually works very well. Shout-out to JadedLeaf who mentioned this a couple of pages ago. It's been updated again and is even better now.

I like the look of it better than the standard design - (still getting used to it) - but the light font on dark background takes a toll on my eyes over extended reading. Bummer. For people who aren't bothered by that, you're right, it's a nice touch.

Highlight the text in a post you want to quote and then choose the reply tooltip. You also can toggle the multi-quote found next to likes. You'd then hit insert quote, arrange the quote order if necessary, and then hit the red x to insert. The reply toggle next to quote replies to only that one post.
 
I miss being able to see the last, most recent poster. That and the ability to click their name to get into that thread. The white is still too.much.

I find this new look is busier and more distracting. There's not as many posts on the page now and more emphasis on the graphics (hence wasted space). I don't use a phone to browse, so can't comment.

quite frankly, I don't see why there needs to be such a strict one like before. other places i am on you can pretty much say whatever - as long as it is in context - and thee are younger posters on that site.

Don't even want to think about a GDT without a profanity filter. :(
 
Would be nice if videos weren't auto-played. Especially when its in a quoted post, as it seems you can't even pause it so you have to mute your whole computer
 
it used to be very easy to search within sub forums but now it seems you have to go through the main search feature and select the subforum you want to search in?? Is this the only way now?
 
Bumping thread (* used to be Sticky'd).

I suggest we rename title to something like "New HFBOARDS Forum: Tips & Tricks, Q&A, Etc." so we can all explore, learn together, where to find old options, and how to utilize its new features.
