since we are moving things anywhere, because we're such a big, active subforum - can we have another one? i strongly believe we need it.
 
Read another post on another board about white being the most expensive colour to produce for mobiles. Battery drain is real.

OK I am done and can confirm battery life on mobile goes down faster.
 
Is there somewhere other than this thread where questions can be asked/answered?

Sounds like placebo. This is only somewhat true for certain types of displays (AMOLED) and it's mostly because black colours on the screen means those pixels on the screen are off. Every other colour still uses energy. I doubt it's that big of a difference.

Need the "ignore thread" feature back. That's an absolute must for me, otherwise all the garbage threads just clog up the ones that are actually enjoyable to read.

Also, need to give some choices on layouts. Way too much white here.

New site/theme is 10x better. Even with uBlock the other site had too many ads so I was pretty much forced to stop coming here. Hope they don't go that route again.
 
I like the new layout. I think if you just made the background a darker shade of grey, it would be easier on the eyes. If that's possible, of course.
 
scheme change with browser addons (took it from another forun). I installed it on Firefox and now I have nice gray background.

( Safari) Night Light
Currently using this one and haven't had a problem so far.

(Chrome) Dark Reader, Deluminate, Dark Mode, Turn Off the Lights

(Firefox) Dark Background And Light Text

(All browsers, including Edge) Turn Off the Lights
 
The desktop version looks very nice, new features all great.

Still hate the mobile version. It's a bit of an eyesore, too much crammed in on the screen (and so very bright), also seems longer to navigate between boards too than the older version.

Yeah, I leave a window open and every so often I browse and view. So annoying that my work has this new site blocked, even more annoying is the reason... This is not a provocative attire site.. I can access Reddit , but it's not the same.. I'll have to use my cell now more often .

I was the same. I used the contact us at the bottom and they sorted me out.

You are missing the link to the last post on any give thred. This means that you must scrol down to the end of the thred, past all of the posts that you have already read. Inefficient and boring. Please fix.
