Not getting home ice could save me some money on tickets for round 3. The Rangers are just looking out for their fans and their wallets.

Round 1 is perfect since it is the cheapest. Round 3 is really expensive. Let's me push some of that onto the Cup Final and the memorabilia for the Cup win.
That's another thing. To have any hope of going to game past round 1 you have to be a celebrity who's just there to be there or on a corporate gathering. And then we wonder why the place is increasingly a library as the rounds progress.

I'll take my chances going on the road. It's easier for us to frustrate a hostile crowd and generate that deafening silence than it is for us to get billionaire's row going.

This game reaffirmed my belief that Jones is a better player then Schneider right now. I don't get it.

Actually I do get it. It's muh height.
couldnt agree more hes one of our 6 best dmen and has been. id also say you can make a case for him over lindgren but but due to relationships and style of play he wont take the spot. ideally hes with schneider, and could work with nemeth just fine. but because we already have 2 smaller dmen on 1 pair, having 2 rookies on a 3rd pair with 1 undersized or even just an undersized rookie partner with nemeth/braun is unlikely to get a regular role this year. kid is such a gamer....great hockey iq and very strong for his size. unfortunately barring injuries or a hail as a hail mary move in a series thats gotten away from us i dont expect to see him.

He will be out of the league next year. He's a bad ECHLer. I remember when we thought he was our future. The most amazing thing is he has the best goalie coach in the league and this turd still can't play like an NHL goalie.
Kinkaid is better than Georgiev.

The only reason Georgiev isn't in the AHL is because he's a "bigger name", he makes more money and sending him down could become a negative focal point through the media.

And with the season we're having the management doesn't want to risk f***ing uo the great spirit of our team.

Either that or Georgiev have incriminating photos of everyone. Because he shouldn't be in the NHL at this point.

Man, another reason to become a billionaire. I'll go to games and get all of the Hedge Fund guys to get loud.

I think I've seen people more excited when their dogs died than Georgiev when Igor wins a game.

BTW, it's hard for me to say that the Rangers are better than the Canes but imagine if we had Raanta as the backup rather than Georgiev.
its why ive always preferred kinkaid in that role. i know hes not great and im sure georgiev is the better player by any player analysis...but theres something to be said for who you are as a teammate. esp as a backup goalie - its a tough role for most pros i get it. but kinkaid is a guy who embraces the role and the team and so the team embraces him. in my eyes that makes a difference in the team you see on the ice in front of them when they play - not to say the team mails it in or its in any way intentional but when georgiev plays but the energy is just dulled. with a guy like kinkaid the team plays for him when he gets his games and its a rallying point. id much rather have that guy on my bench as a backup

Georgsieve. how did I never think of this before.

Can I please have the time spent watching that game back? Thanks in advance.
I literally turned off the game after the first period when I saw our lineup and who started, I just knew we would lose because of awful goaltending.

I'm not going to stay up until 3-3.30 AM for Georgsieve to shit the bed yet again.

P.s Georgsieve is an amazing nickname. How come no one has ever used it before?!

cus everyone is too busy calling him a f***ing ******* ******** and a massive ***** or ******** to stop and be witty.

The only bright spot in the game was Zac Jones.

We had an AHL quality lineup. MTL was a high school hockey team lineup. Our guys played like they all just met today and never played together. It was a total shit game. Even worse was Georgie's .833 save percentage against the worst team in the NHL.

Georgiev sucks, but Barclay Goodrow, shame on you homie. You're literally paid to get pucks out of the zone late in the third. That's it. That's all you do. That entire sequence was one of the most embarrassing clown shows of a shift I've ever seen in a professional hockey game. You could literally cue circus music to that sequence and it would be hilarious.

The entire team was bad. McKegg, Gauthier and Hunt are simply not NHL players. Schneider got brutalized tonight, not a good sign going into the playoffs

Honestly with the team we rolled out there tonight. It's better off to not play.

I know they got spoke the other night with the injuries but I don't believe in taking the foot off the gas pedal. Play everybody until the last game unless they are nursing an injury.

Copp and Panarin I assume are nursing, but I wouldn't have sat anybody else.

I just believe in staying in form and not letting up. It's hard to just turn it back on in a week. Okay supervisor. Friday between John and Maddie tomorrow he gets court mandated visitation and I third party needs to be present. Can you do that?

It's a long season, most guys have some minor injuries that of given time to rest could be the difference between being 100% or 70%. Id be pissed though if i traveled to watch rangers habs at msg and this was the roster i was watching

*plays 1 game*. The kid line just doesnt work and never will in a thousand years. They'll literally be killed if they play a second more together. What they need is a old man whipping them at all times.

... Holy over reaction.Give them another game at least, lol

We have no idea who’s dealing with injuries. Some users are convinced Fox has been hurt for months.

I don’t mind the caution. I just still don’t understand why a player like Laf wasn’t leading the forwards in ice time.

With the Carolina loss, the playoff picture was set on our end. The Washington game could be more important depending upon who NYR thinks are the more favorable matchup, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see more guys in for that one.

Still, I’d expect caution overall, which is fine, but treating the Caps game like a tune-up might be wise .

I'll call a spade a spade, said goalie didn't have a good game whatsoever, 2 very very stinky goals. But man we were an ECHL team out there.

Like some have said, this is not the mode you want to cruise into playoffs with. All hands on deck for the last game (even though it won't happen)

The problem isn't that they don't work together, it's that they don't work with anyone.
