Should the Kings answer the John Scott (SJ) signing?

Here's "how to," apadilla.

1. Go to the "National Hockey League Talk" forum on this website.

2. Post a poll there with the thread title: "If Dogs Could Play Hockey, What Breed Would Best Represent Sidney Crosby?" (don't worry, the thread will be taken seriously there)

3. Populate the poll with the following species:
a. Great Dane
b. German Shepard
c. Pomeranian
d. Poodle
e. Lassie

That should do it. Good luck! :)

Done, plus I added "Chihuahua" for greater diversity,

these guys, and if we could take someone from the far past, i'd like to pick someone like The Hammer Schultz or Randy Holt, though it would be a big size differential with Scott, those two guys did their job well,

Nicely done!!! It does not matter size Holt would beat the hell out of anyone playing hockey today, that guy was nuts. :yo:

I am totally laughing my ass off, that was ****ing GOLD!!!

Jesus, too bad it got locked up so fast. I really thought that would be a hit over there. :)

****ing awesome effort man.

Thanks, and yup, Holt sure was nuts. I remember at the time the Kings were being pushed around by even the ice girls, hehe, but seriously, Marcel Dionne was pushing for the acquisition so much that when the Kings traded for Holt, Marcel picked Holt up at the airport. He probably welcomed Randy aboard, then told him who he wanted beaten up, haha.

Hummm, could the 8 of us of been right???

And yes I know, it's Manchester, but still, I'm sure the Kings either requested or okay'ed this move

He was signed for Manchester:

Along those lines, was their discussion about this being a possible gateway opportunity to a deal in Los Angeles?

“Everybody down there is in that situation,†Futa noted. “There was really a discussion about his role with the Manchester Monarchs. This wasn’t about looking toward the big team roster. That being said, any kid down there, any-aged person, puts on a clinic – they are all an extension of the Los Angeles Kings and our family. If somebody down there is doing their job, we certainly don’t wish any kind of injuries upon the big club that [would potentially] create those opportunities… this move was done solely for making Manchester a safer ground with better leadership. Again, like any kid, and this falls into that category, if he has an excellent performance and shows his stuff, then we’re always going to be watching.â€

Unless he surpasses somebody on the depth chart (God help us), then he'll be in Manchester.

Yup if the Kings only had Biz in the lineup...just think

1. Kopitar would take over games like he is capable of.
2. Carter would have more than 2 goals in 20 games
3. Doughty would shoot the puck on the PP
4. Muzzin would pass the puck to the right team
5. Richards wouldn't have 31 points over his past 105 games played
6. Brown wouldn't fall down
7. Stoll's shots would hit the net
8. Lewis would score on a breakaway.

Herby, have you been a psychic long? Please try and contact Dean with your reading on the Biz, though I do think he occassionally reads our super dooper threads.

The Kings have had their most successful era in team history because for the first time in team history they have actually had a lineup that utilizes four lines.

I know some Roman Coliseum fans enjoy watching grown men (and in Canada teenagers) bare-knuckle fight each others brains into jello in staged fights, but it's not a recipe for building a successful championship caliber team. As we have seen with this group.

Before the season started I would have said no the team doesn't need a enforcer. But after watching how this team has played this season I changed my mind. They need someone to fire this team up in the 1st period, with a fight or a big hit, or just to stir things up. the team plays better when the game is intense, and physical. Trade Nolan for Luke Gazdic , and play him against San Jose, Anaheim and teams like St.Lous. It would be nice to have someone that could deal with Ryan Reaves. I'm sick of that guy running around all game.

Interesting, as I like both Nolan and Gazdic. I'd be up for this type of deal, but Edmonton should add say a 4th or 5th to square things off, as Nolan is the better player.

Would you care to add this proposal to the "Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk" page? If not, I'll do it. I'd like to see how Oiler fans would like this.

The "NO NO NO" gif from the Office or the confused Jaguar fan gif doesn't do that justice.

We need the return of the vomit one to describe bringing Luke Gazdic to the Kings.

And who cares about Ryan Reaves. The overreaction to him running around like an idiot vs. the Kings in the playoffs was hilarious. Supposedly his strong physical play would wear down the Kings over a 7 game series and the exact opposite happened both times we played them.

As long as we can avoid running into the Blues in a bar after the game we will be fine.

Remember how NBC was all over Mike Brown last year in the first three games. Pretty sure Engblom said he was a difference maker. Talent > plugs.
