If they are overrated what does that make toronto?Lmao. Where did this wild overrating of Dallas come from?
Is this still the Keefe thread ?
Right. He played Marner 22:30 against the Habs including 3:58 short handed. Willie 13:14 and JT 16:11 TOI . I guess he didn't learn anything about load management from last year. We are literally going to repeat last season's game but somehow expect a fresh result. WTF Sheldon?
I ordered a Sheldon Keefe Extended t-shirt and all I got was a Minnesota Wild/Dallas Stars discussion. Is this still the Keefe thread ?
I saw on a thread earlier that he was going up Willy's ice time by giving him PK duty. So we can have both 16 & 88 expending energy as shut down players.
Get you best players on as much as possible, just like they do in peewee.
Can you find me the quotes where he said this? I think he said something about getting Nylander's ice time up and they are looking at him on the PK in two separate quotes.
Um, why would you need the quote in a single sentence?
If you read that they want his ice time up. And then you read they were looking at him on the PK.... isn’t that a connected thought there?
I want to know if I am wrong in my recollection. I believe Keefe said they are looking at him on the PK, which doesn't mean he is playing on the PK and he wanted his ice time up in another quote. It doesn't mean these things are related. I didn't think this was hard to grasp.
Why is he consistently playing Marner so much in preseason? It’s actually unbelievable, he’s lucky he hasn’t been hurt, because this is just shitty coaching. There is NO point to playing him so much, I can’t even fathom his thought process.

Of course.
Wanting to give someone more ice time and then trying them out on the PK, something that would provide an opportunity for more ice time, are completely unrelated matters

It's exhausting, isn't it?![]()
They may be unrelated, or partially related, but to imply that all Nylander's new ice time will come from the PK was just another way to complain about the Leafs (I am thinking the original poster is running out of new creative ways so he is making them up).
Where else would it come from? Taking minutes away from Matthews? Rolling 3 lines into exhaustion?
Seems that would be a better way to complain about the Leafs than a guy getting extra PK minutes.
Watch: Matthews sure wouldn’t want his ice time touched and he wouldn’t want to not have his wingers of choice. Keefe should tread REALLY carefully there.
See how much more interesting that way is to complain about them?
/The end.I don't even know where to begin.
I guess I'll begin with the logical arguments you made...

Chicago won 3 cups with their shutdown pairing consisting of 2 LHD (Hjalmarrson and Oduya). Pronger-Nieds was one of the best pairings in history and it consisted of 2 LHD.
Having 2 left handed D on a pairing is quite common.
It is so remarkable how little hockey knowledge you have with 11K posts on here.
Someone who plays hockey (TJ Brodie) has been open about believing he plays stronger when on the right side.
I'd imagine most professional hockey minds would take into account a veterans preference rather than following arbitrary rules.
The eyetest certainly confirmed last season he did a great job on that side.
I read them, and I recommend them. Obviously, I don't take them seriously. I actually think they are not meant to be.
