Looking for excuses

But seriously... The ice wasn't even noticeable. Guys weren't falling down all over the place like in Pittsburgh and the puck wasn't bouncing like crazy (When not controlled by Dillon-Polak)

At this point, nothing matters but the end result. The Sharks just need to keep producing chances on Murray. The Penguins will inflate the shot counts since they throw everything on net. Sharks just have to clean up the garbage.

It helps that they're slowly getting more of the play in their favor as the series progresses. Hopefully, it continues. Monday is as much a must win as this one was.

It was a bit mushy. The puck died a bit. The amount of icings the Pens get away with seriously angered me.

Love they use the old logo. In fact, I love everything about this.

The old logo...sigh. I miss it too. Had a timeless hand drawn feel that is rare in sports where every new logo looks like it was done on adobe illustrator. Pens got away from it before reverting back, hope the sharks do the same.

Ya. Not saying it was perfect. But at this time of year where has quality ice? If anything it should be an advantage to Pittsburgh because they can skate much better. I noticed some passes between Sharks couldn't connect.

Polar glaciers probably have good ice unless global warming's doing it's thing too well.

Maybe a whiskey bar too.

Actually mushy ice would be an advantage for S.J. physical play and mushy ice really seemed to slow a few of the Pens down. The Sharks just need to keep mucking it up.

I only got the white one, which I didn't like as much as the teal, I was jealous of the people I saw in the teal. Were they only in certain sections?

I got a white shirt as well. It looked like the upper bowl sections got the white shirts while the lower bowl got teal.

For game 5 in Pitt I think they need to split up the Dillon/Polak pairing because they will constantly be out against the Crosby line. Put one of them with Vlasic and the other with Braun. Our two best defensive dmen will be able to hide their weaknesses abit.

Feeling okay about this. Still a lot of work to do.

Seems like they're slightly starting to figure out the pens and their speed. Maybe its the ice though, I don't know. I think if we keep putting wear and tear on them they'll fall, luckily we buy another game or two to figure it out, but they need to really get this going.

I think we go back to PITT tied. Games in PITT will be the real test.

Yeah! They ruled the gridiron tonight with clutch Home Runs by Steph Curry.

Yeahhhhhhh, noooooooooooo bro

I want tgis team to execute game 4, however I think there will be some second line headwinds- just like game 3

Yeah, Tierney was pretty poor against LA and half of the games against both Nashville and St. Louis but man he has stepped it up in this series. As I suspected, he would play a lot better against a smaller, quicker defense than a large defense that obstructs the play a lot.

Tierney has looked really good. I always see him get criticized for his lack of possession but he makes a lot of smart plays and is very good at making nifty passes to the points or other teammates. Would love to see what he does with other skilled linemates. I think he has more upside than we give him credit for given the fact that he went a point per game in 29 AHL games last year on a team where people weren't even very close to that pace.

I think he has the upside to be a decent 2C once he strengthens up and gets a little faster since he's already so smart. It's too bad he's stuck behind Thornton, Couture, and Hertl as future centers to actually give him a good opportunity to prove himself.

As a series progresses, the best teams get better. For a decade, that hasn't described the Sharks...but I think/hope it is describing them now.
