No one mentioning Kniazev. Thought he looked very good, and a step above most of the d-men in the tournament. I know he has an AHL season under his belt but he’s still only 21 or 22. Merkley has more skill but there are times when I like Kniazev more. He is much better at getting the puck to the net and keeps things simpler.

I thought he was the only D not named Merkley that stood out the entire time. Silky smooth skating.

In the game yesterday, it was hard for Kniazev as we were killing penalties so much. He did do good things in the game but he also made a few mistakes in trying to do too much. It was just the game. Most of the skill was out and all the penalties.
