Just because we like reactionary hypotheticals here.

If we make the playoffs, do we bring Ruff back? And if so, for how long? And if we get off to a bad start next year (like much worse than 0-2-0, I'm not talking just 0-2-0 here) do we then fire him to promote Brunette?

If we make the playoffs and don't bring Ruff back, are we maybe fixing something that isn't broken, like the goalie coaching position?

If we make the playoffs, it probably means the goaltending was at least fine in that case maybe Rogalski really doesn't suck and just (bad) lucked into a crop of non-NHL caliber goalies, along with retiring (Crawford) and injured (Bernier and Blackwood) NHL caliber goalies.

No, because if we make the playoffs Burnette will be in demand as a coach. You let Lindy walk and bump him up to the full role.

Hughes was off all game - he's still pretty good when he's off his game, but he's going to make more mistakes. Never quite got it worked out.

so many similar views have come up the other way. IMO a lot of times it depends almost entirely on the camera angle and how much you can see the skate move along the ice.
It's irrelevant at this point but it was very clearly a kick regardless of which camera angle unless your glasses have a tiny of rose.

Nico basically didn’t even celebrate the goal because he knew it was going to get called back on a kick. When the player doesn’t celebrate that is usually a tell.

No one but the homer broadcast argued the call.

Yeah, he might have been hired already to be a head coach if he weren’t fired at the time where only 1 or 2 vacancies were left.

I think there was only one vacancy when he was fired. Not including the vacancy of the job his removal created.

And the Sharks fired Boughner a couple weeks after that and that was two. Friedman says they talked to him about the head coaching job.

I think the Sharks have the perfect head coach right now for the task at hand.

One thing I hate about our post game press conferences is how the media just won’t ask Ruff an open ended question. Instead they suggest their own answer.

Always it seems. It’s not enough to ask “what did you think of Bahl?” They’ve always got to add “to me it looked like . . .” and ask Lindy to comment. I hate that.

You got a back to back Monday and Tuesday, they will throw the bone to vanecek vs his old team
That's irrelevant when you have a desperate af coach...I can already see him playing Blackwood Monday because of the three-game winning streak, then anything short of 35 shots and 4+ goals allowed they rationalize playing him both ends of the back to back because of two days off after the Detroit game. I mean we're talking about a coach who kept three healthy forwards in the box just to play a hurt Bastian and keep up the 11-7 split

we have capspace and Yzerman with his great signings
Chiarot is great. Amazing signing. Yzerman was cheated out of the HOF as a builder this year because of that.

What a warrior and amazing defenseman.

All those stars people that shit on him don’t know what they’re talking about.

And Andrew Brunette is a total knob for hardly playing him with the Panthers got him. Look no further than that as to why the Capitals made them sweat and Tampa swept them.
