He had a very lazy game all day. Looked checked out.

I don't necessarily agree. He beat out an icing which no other player in the league would have caught up to and he almost had a goal on that tic tac toe play. Put him self in good scoring position.

The one issue I have now. For the better part of the last decade if it was a close game and they lost, I didn’t really care as there was a prize at the end of the year for a rebuilding team.

This year. I think they can make the playoffs and when it is a close game I am getting anxiety. Haven’t had that in a long time as I now care if they win or not. The anxiety of knowing his team can win and not wanting them to lose is back!!!
I love it but those last periods are going to be brutal.

i’m holding my skepticism until the Devils play some good teams, but this really feels night and day compared to the first few games. Getting some saves is huge but i don’t think we’re seeing the constant defensive breakdowns.

If the powerplay starts looking competent you can start putting me at the bottom of those Vince McMahon memes.

The crazy part is this defense is still waiting on the best two defensive prospects in the sport, it's gonna get better than it is now which is an insane statement.
