Halttunen is such a weapon on the PP. Even if he doesn’t score his shot has to be respected and will open up so much space for the rest of the PP to operate.

I was at opening night for the Cuda and it was amazing how much the PK overplayed Halttunen in his first ever AHL game.

Even as a 4th line PP specialist he will have a good amount of utility to the big club.

I mean, with Dickinson vs. Buium, we are talking defensemen, so it's not exactly just about goals scored.

And seriously, do we really have to rehash the whole Michkov thing again? Especially as a Sharks fan, how do you not understand that situation and are blaming Grier for it?

Also, please try not to write posts that sound like Trump tweets. Thank you.

Matvei Michkov: I want to thank Mike Grier for secretly helping out the Philly Community for not picking me with the 4th pick in the 2023 NHL draft. We will be naming local holidays and a religion in his honor. As we should be reminded of this generous gift every time we think about Mike.

Woof not a great period for Dickinson at all, his goalie has bailed him out twice now and obviously the own goal. Also a few bad plays on the play between him and Cowan on the PP that just killed plays

He's gonna be a good player but this is the sort of thing that makes it so obvious he's not #1D material. Just a totally braindead thing to do.
Oh I agree. I just had to poke some fun at it.

I've tried to catch several of his games this year. He is fun to watch, but as you said he will just make some plays that make you scratch your head.

Oh boy as I type this CZE score again. What is this Canadian team...

Dickinson with another turnover this time he gets burned on it. I think it might have been a tough pass from Mckenna that put him in a rough spot? But in that scenario he’s gotta just chip it in deep instead of just straight up turning it over at the offensive blue line sheesh

Figures, the one time Dickinson jumps in the defense breaks down.

That's not even a pinch, dude. He entered the zone on his own, lost the handle, and then the four other guys on the ice did nothing. McKenna looked horrible on that play.
My gaffe, been a long day at work. Dickinson moved into the zone fumbled the puck which lead to the goal. Others were guilty as well, but Dickinson should have dumped the puck in deep.

There's some kind of brainrot on this Canadian team. Truly stupid play to knee on knee a guy like that.

I think a lot of it is how poorly this team was constructed. So many ill-fitting pieces playing out of their usual roles and they're all rattled and terrified to screw up which makes them make dumb mistakes or just not think.

Nobody looks comfortable and they're all clutching their sticks in a death grip.
