Seeing Sam Dickinson on the world stage makes me nervous about the Sharks D future. He is still young so there is that, but his decision making must be better if he wants to have a long career in the NHL.

Not letting him off the hook because this has always been the biggest concern with him. But I get the feeling that the way he's been handled in this tournament has rattled him.

Geezers! The over dramatics is getting overboard. Relax people. They're kids.
No kidding right. Dickinson is the second youngest defenceman on the roster besides Schaefer, is having an unreal season and after a rough few games suddenly he has zero potential to become a #1 dman and is destined to become Henry Thrun…In other words, typical HFBoards.

I have no idea if the NHL network airs the same commercials that TSN is using (given the earlier discussion of the woodworking Bedard commercial is for CIBC) but that Esso commercial with the little girls in the car is so unrealistic.

there's no way that kid has memorized her mom's phone number given that we're in the era of everyone having cell phones with programmed contact info.

I haven't memorized a phone number since like 2001.

Watch them each skate the puck out of the zone once, and you should see a significant difference.

Rough game (though last shift was solid), but he and Thrun are almost nothing alike.
At the prospect scrimmage (bad example, I know) I think Dickinson went like 0/8 on zone entries and defensively looks very similar to Thrun. He stands still a lot and gets walked often because of it.

Definitely more offensively skilled, but I've seen people calling him a TWD when he seems to be more OFD, and his style of offense will not easily translate well in the NHL. Not hating at all since he's so young, but he will absolutely have to change his game if he's gonna be even half of what many on here expect. Seems to also have that Vlasic personality in him

The fact that Brayden Yager has apparently declared that his name is to be pronounced like "Jagr" instead of like "Yeager" is confusing the hell out of me in this game featuring the Czechs.

I have heard more Wheatus in the Airbnb commercial airing this tournament than I ever heard when Wheatus was actually a thing.
Ok abe simpson.
