London Knights seems to be the most likely destination atm but everything is still possible.

Would be good given them leading their division and a potential playoff run(more and meaningfull games) for Wright.

Hope he goes there, if that's happening, and is able to keep working on his game while having a good time as well.

Anyone know anything about Windsor? Are they good at developing at all?

Windsor has a decent history of producing NHL talent. Some notable alum (the 2009 team with Ellis, Hall, Henrique, Kassian and Fowler was crazy):

Taylor Hall
Jason Spezza
Josh Bailey
Cam Fowler
Ed Jovanovski
Matt Cooke
Steve Ott
Ryan Ellis
Adam Henrique
Cory Stillman
Jack Campbell
Philipp Grubauer
Mikhail Sergachev
Adam Graves

In terms of fit, it’s a decent landing spot for Wright. He’ll get to play with two other NHL forward prospects in Maggio (OTT) and Harrison (BOS), along with two other somewhat experienced, relatively high scoring OHL players in Peer and Christopoulos.

They’ve got a very good goalie in Joey Costanzo who should get drafted in 2023, along with NHL defense prospects in Sobolev (MTL) and Holmes (DAL).

With Wright now on Windsor, I’d expect them to make a deep playoff run (they were already very good).

Talent wise I don't know if Windsor is much different than Kingston. The important thing is that Wright can learn from Marc Savard. Being able to learn from a longtime NHL center is huge, especially a brilliant playmaker like Savard. There's a lot he could teach Shane.

This is not really true at all. Windsor has WAY more talent than Kingston. Kingston is a young team with no dynamic offensive players that is not really close to the playoffs.

I take your word for it, I just didn't know the names any better.

Fair. Kingston is submitting a bid for hosting the Memorial Cup next season so they’re trying to load up on younger players for a run next season. They aren’t looking to compete this year.

At the Junior Level and in the play-offs and hopefully Memorial Cup, Wright just needs to play and play a lot and in all situations,Regular shifts,PP and PK. He'll be better for it when he arrives in Seattle in September. And its OK for Wright to start on the 4th line. He has a lot to learn from our great veteran bunch in Seattle. Hopefully within the first year he moves up the line up. The Kraken are a veteran lot at Centre save for youngster Beniers which works in Wright favor

I thought Shane Wright played exactly the style we were led to believe he was... Patrice Bergeron.

He was exceptional defensively and that goal he scored in the last game was an amazing effort, Guy all over him and he just fought it off and had the amazing rocket backhand.

I became a big fan of him as a player and a person leading up to the draft year knowing the Habs had a chance to get him, I hope he turns out good for you guys.

Such a crazy draft, We don't know who is gonna do what but I think you guys def got a very solid piece no matter what.. Will be following his career closely.

Will be interesting to see in 5 years how Slafkovsky/Wright/Nemac/Cooley are doing
Just for fun, a redraft in 5 years my be

3 assists for Wright tonight. I think that’s 10 pts in 5.

Well, it seems like their coach was telling the truth when he said that he wants Wright to concentrate on his offense.

Should help the kid and also help the Kraken in the long run, if Wright gets more confident in his offensive game while playing a lot of hockey.
