Does anyone feel his movements seems kinda slow in this vid? 🤔
I had to watch it again. Maybe not slow but maybe not explosive?
Jeez i wish the season would start.
I thought it was weird too but seems it's more of a promo video for the skills coach that he works with.

I am very stoked to see him in NHL action again...between him and Sanderson alone we have 2 major upgrades this season.

I can't wait to see this kid with our current core, now that the plugs have been shipped out. Here's hoping for a full 82 games from Pinto because I think he can win ROY. I also have this feeling that if Norris was ever hurt for an extended period, that Pinto could slid into his role and excel.

The amount of joy seeing this guy tear it up in College and play such a great 2 way game... it's been a while. Can't wait to see him again. Could be x-factor for us in a couple years on an unexpected deep run.

Remember how good he looked in pre-season? Our best player bodying players left and right. Can't wait for next season, DAMN.

Could perhaps make Norris expendable in few years if we run into cap trouble and he plays to his potential (top line/1b Selke winning C).

I'm a big Pinto fan, but he hasn't actually proven anything yet. He passed the eye test, for sure, but that was in mostly meaningless games. And that's not even considering the injury and how it may have affected his abilities.

He and Sanderson are the biggest wildcards heading into the season, due to injuries and a largely lost season of development. Absolutely bursting with potential, but we have to see it realized.

I would like to see a bit more commitment to the camerawork.

Much better angles to be had, zooming in and out as required. I mean, c'mon.

This is why they should put a playmaker with Pinto, he is too good for the 3rd line & will become another point producing forward. Joseph played really well with Tkachuk & Norris last yr, start Batherson on the 3rd line & they will have three great lines. Formenton was just starting to break out last yr too & we saw what Pinto can do, those three could be great together. DeBrincat, Giroux or Batherson, place any one of thise three on Pinto's line & they will create three very good scorin lines IMO.

I’d be good with that on the road especially, when we don’t get to choose the matchups.

I honestly think Greig is the answer to this, he is such an underrated play maker and I think would fit so well on Pinto's wing.

Greig - Pinto - Joseph could be a terrifying third line if Greig is ready for time with the big club.

I agree, I think the lines should be:
Debrincat-Stutzle-Batherson
Tkachuk-Norris-Joseph
Formenton-Pinto-Giroux

No, Giroux needs to be on Stu’s line imo, then they can each take face offs on their strong side. Stu keeps the centre duties.

I think we’re gonna run the top six as expected, and let Pinto settle into the NHL.

I’d much rather we bulldoze teams with our strongest top six and see what Pinto can do with the crazy speed on both wings.

That third line has the potential to be really exciting.
