Finland will win because that kiddie line just refuses to lose. They will score 10 goals if thats what it needs to win but i guess like 4 does the trick. 4-3 to Finland.

I think the key for Sweden will be to stay outside the box. We take way too many penalties and against Finland it will be costly. Super impressed with Pulju Laine Aho, their size and speed will give our slow defenders fits. However, the Finnish defence looked scared and stressed in the QF. I lived in Sweden for a year and have friends there, but also have spent a lot of time in Helsinki.

Probably should cheer for Finland because as a Hurricanes fan, they have Aho.

I feel that Sweden will walk over Finland...

Finlands offence is good enough to take any team but that defence is horribly bad and goaltending mediocre at best even with Kähkönen at net.

The only way we can pull of a win is if our defence learns to clear the puck properly and not give easy turn-overs over and over again. And not to take too many penalties either that's another thing we need to do.

"You can tell the fear". Fear would come from expecting Finland to win this game. I don't, not even when losing a top #2D and Nylander to injuries. That's how good that team is.

It's a prediction and yes, the US will handily defeat that Russian team.

I don't think so. Sweden loves take penalties and Finland is lethal in PP. On the same time, Sweden's PK is top notch too.

Finland wouldn't go down without a fight.

Its one game and everything can happen. Both team has chance to win I afraid.

Nevertheless hope for a good game.

If I were a drafting man I would pick Puljujarvi and Laine 1 and 2. I base this sole on my observations from this tournament. That being said I believe that Finland has the edge in this game in terms of game-breaking capabilities. 3-2 Finland.

Russia does not deserve to win and advance to the final. On account of universal justice, I bet USA will win 4-1.

Why they play this game at 15:00 on a monday beats my senses. Luckily I'm the boss man at work... I'll cancel my last meeting and head home early...

Sweden - Finland is going to be a great game, no one can tell the result, neither team is the favourite IMO, im going to enjoy it, may the best team win.

In the tomorrow semifinal Sweden has clearly the better organized team. Finnish defence is very vulnerable - so Sweden is clearly the favorite in that game and also regarding the championship.

One thing that especially works on the Swedes favor is that Canada is already out. Whenever Sweden has had to play versus Canada in a playoff game, Sweden has lost. The only times (both in U20 and in men) that Sweden has been a champion in a best-on-best tournament are those times when they haven't met Canada at all in the playoffs.

Anyway, hoping for a Finnish victory of course. But should we loose I'll be cheering for Sweden to go all the way. Good luck both teams !

thats certainly an issue here, lot of swedish fans itching & scratching already. they shouldn't, sweden needs to collapse (like all the other teams did) and can't see that happen this time.

I cheer for Finland, but the Finns always have troubles as soon they play against Sweden. Even the top player don't reach often their normal level, additonally Sweden is better on the goalie position. I hope Jalonen learned the lesson and will start the game with Kähkönen, otherwise they will surely lose.

It would be better they can play against them in final game not already semi-final. Though the US-team is very strong, I'm afraid they could rather win against them than against Sweden.

The WJC is not a best-on-best tournament. When Sweden won their gold medal in 2012, Canada didn't have Tyler Seguin, Erik Gudbranson, Ryan Johansen, Jeff Skinner, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Sean Couturier.
