i like it how much swedes are doing some convincing, trying promote them selvs :D
that shows the true colors in them

you can fell the fear

2013 was awesome, just relax and enjoy. great games what ever happens ;)

USA and Sweden with the wins, no homer, it's simply based on that USA and Sweden have been more impressive so far.

Russia has no chance against US, while Finland will give Sweden a fight (as always), but the Swedish team is better overall and much deeper (as always). Nice feather in the hat for Finland beating Canada, but that was the weakest Canadian team I've seen for a long time.

USA - RUS: 4-1
SWE - FIN: 3-2

One of the round robin groups were simply much stronger than the other one. Sweden slaughtered Slovakia, USA slaughtered Czech Republic, Russia barely beat Denmark and Finland barely beat Canada.

Do you really believe that Russia will score just one goal??? )) Looks funny )

I'm fine with hearing the Swedes brag. Liking Finland as underdog in this game.

Sweden will probably beat Finland because they have solid defense and offence whereas Finland struggles in defense. USA will win Russian, not necessarily because they are a lot better but because the crowd. In the Russia-Denmark game the crowd was like 6th player for Denmark and I believe it will be the same in USA-Russian game.

ofc. I think the Aho-line would scare any team. They have been amazing :handclap:

if you look, finland is much more than just one line. very deep o

Yes but there is one line that really stands out. If it weren't for those guys I would feel pretty confident going into the semis but it feels like those guys can win it by themselves

From what I've seen it won't be hard to score on Finland. And our defense and goaltending is better than Canada's was today.

nah don't worry, you're facing a team. not a line. much more than just that

only game i've seen swe was a against us.man your team was in dying trouble.

Lets see if our 4th line can shine brightly in defense playing good shutdown vs their first line. Disciplined like vs USA and I think we have a good chance of winning.

US coach trolls Russia - Russia got lucky.

Ok, I can see where he's coming from, in the sense that we weren't really playing in the first two periods, i.e. underestimated our opponent. But 'lucky'? I mean, Russia outshot the Danes big time, the Danes could hardly move at the end, the entire game was in their zone. You can hardly call that 'luck'. But whatever, I think our guys play best when they're the underdogs, so I think this plays in our favour.

Perhapse one of the toughest Finnish offenses in a few years. But our defense and goaltending are not on par. I give the edge to swedes.

Maybe he's talking about the goals? Definitely some lucky bounces there, but then again it was certainly the case for Denmark as well. Or maybe just drawing Denmark in the first place... Probably just mind games, trying to get the players over-excited.

A Swedish win is more probable, HOWEVER, with that Finnish top line being that good, and considering the possibility that the Swedes may commit penalties, the game can easily shift in Finland's favor.

Well, actually, none of the Russian goals were really lucky bounces, maybe the 2nd one, but it was a nice shot off of a juicy rebound.

No, wait, I'm talking about the 3rd goal, not the 2nd. But still, he clearly beat the goalie with his shot, it wasn't a lucky bounce.

But yeah, it's obviously mind games - just like Eller with his 'oh, I hope we won't lose 8-0' meanwhile scheming in the background :D.

Didn't one of them come to the player's stick off a teammate's failed shot and then go in off the goalie's arm? That's lucky I think, but then again if you keep trying, eventually something will go right.
