Ekholm was garbage. Responsible for the game winner. Henrique was terrible- gave it away for the 4-4 goal. Knob was terrible- still hasn’t figured out what works against Florida of wingers quick chips into the neutral zone.

Henrique was an abortion of a signing. 3.5 for a beer league effort every night.

Remember the dumb lazy blind pass turnovers that Draisaitl was infamous for that drove all of us here nuts at times?

McDavid seems to have adopted those, while Leon has mostly cut them out. He’s been throwing it away lately and killing possessions at way too high of a clip.

Ekholm was bad, Bouchard was terrible and Skinner was horrific.

That's all that was needed for Florida to walk away with a win. Never seen the top pairing be so bad In a game this season. Both guys were horrific. Skinner is what he is. A terrible big game goaltender.

Thats the thing. They didn't have their best player. But Skinner the great equalizer, for opponents. Florida weren't even good in this game and played maybe one period, third, and it was enough because..

Was Stu good tonijght? Nah.

But pretty ridiculous to focus on that and not all the egregious mistakes we saw in this game that we didn’t see in most of this win streak.

I know I won’t be looking at Skinner after a game like this. And neither would any coach in the League.

This is a game that Stu should be apologizing to his teammates for the turd he laid.

In a game where Bobrovsky was absolutely terrible.

A stinker of a game like this was coming after beating Vegas, Minnesota, and the Lightning. Still not fun to lose against Florida again, but I didn't foresee 3 out of the 4 wins on this stretch.

That being said it will be disappointing to not hit the New Year with at least 22 wins.
