Yes...yes it is.
Posters will continue to argue that a shot off the mask (from behind the net) is completely Skinners fault. Looking at any goal objectively will not be tolorated.
Hate = irrational.

He gave up 6 goals and you probably think he had a good game

And we're not currently getting a whole lot of value back for this massive spend and all of these guys are probably past their prime, 2/4 of them have major injury question marks. I think a change needs to be made here.

Move at least one of these guys, you don't need all of them, and bring in back a Gibson or Talbot or Vejmelka.

If not pursue a Blomqvist or Soderblom or someone like that.

If not even that, at least get off your lazy ass and get a James Reimer for some insurance in case Skinner gets hurt so you're not at some point playing freaking Rodrigue with 0 NHL experience in actual NHL playoff games potentially.

I have in the past suggested Reimer as a backup. But I don't think at this stage he is even a big upgrade on Pickard who I expect you loose on waivers if you brought in Reimer. Pickard has been surprisingly effective and consistent.

Part of the problem is that you have two things that need to be balanced. This year and going forward. The guy I like is Vejmelka. But the price for Vejmelka may well be pretty high relative to that of a typical goalie because I suspect that Utah will want to re-sign him and they have a ton of cap space so they can offer him a lot to entice him to stay. I suspect he is not available without a massive offer until it is clear he is moving on. If you are going to spend significant assets you better expect him to be at the very least your 1B with pretty much equal time.

If your interest is in winning this year I don't see Blomqvist or Soderblom as being the move you make in season. Maybe in the off season. I'd be fine with Talbot at a reasonable price replacing Pickard, but then you still have Skinner as your #1 guy. Gibson is a risk that may be worth taking. But if he does not work out you have Campbell 2.0 on your hands.
 
Just to clarify on the rebound debate I had earlier in this thread.

This is what I would consider a bad rebound, and if this rebound was given up by Skinner, I would have blamed him for said bad rebound:



However, the rebound Skinner gave up in this game that bounced off Enbersons back and over his head is not the same situation. So I do not consider it bad rebound:




What’s the difference? The first shot hits Demko in the bread basket. He can with proper goalie technique and if he’s feeling it, corral that shot in his bread basket, then catch the rebound before it hits the ice. This is a taught and practiced goalie technique, and it’s reasonable to assume that if a goalie is playing well, he should be able to prevent that rebound.

The shot Skinner faced was off his Left shoulder. Specifically the upper portion of his left shoulder, which is why it pops directly upwards and hits Emberson right below the neck before bouncing in over his head. To see the location of where the puck hit skinner you’ll need to frame by frame it. But it’s clear as day where the puck hit skinner and where the puck hit Emberson when you do that.

Coaching as well, Woodcroft was awful and I believe that series put him on the hot seat

And that opinion is that a goal from 2 feet behind the goal line is not a bad goal. SMH.

You’re gonna hate me for saying this lol, but stats like 1GAA? Or +0.15 GSAx for the fancy folk out there. Was that an objective response to that game we saw?

This Florida game though. Yes, objectively bad game due to a lack of enough big saves. Does not mean objectively every goal was his fault, no.
