Zadorov is a very good number 4, he has been one of the few this year who has played well. Lohrei is great trade bait, Peeke is a good depth D. 3 good D to build around. You have Pastrnak at forward to build around, and that's it.

Taking bad penalties obviously doesn't help, but otherwise, geez, hard gig trying to make a good impression on this team. For sure would like to see more from Lysell, but appreciate the difficulty. Not alone either. Poitras struggled. They have persevered with Lohrei and rightly so, but it's been tough for him. No other young call up has done anything. Perhaps they all just suck, but I'm reluctant to write any youngster off based on the last few weeks.

How that feeds into the roster build for next season, I'm not sure.
