The other guy played better and got a win, got a cup made a save with 10 seconds left that skinner would of been on his back and wide open net 150% of time

I mean there’s a reason not my fault is the worst goalie in the league. Getting outplayed by the backup this year

Skinner is a fraud, he can play well for little stretches but then will revert to being a mental midget, we get gifted a bad game from Bob and Skinner still decides to be even worse.

Anyone who keeps falling for the "maybe we don't need goaltending help" any time this fraud puts up a few good games in a row deserves a night like tonight. How many times do you need to get hit over the head before it sinks in.

Bouchard purposely trying to shit his contract value, crapping the bed in high profile games versus Vegas, Toronto, and now Florida. Well deserved to not be on Team Canada.

Was gonna say, how do people still think Bouchard is NHL quality? He can’t even get pucks on net anymore, and his own zone play is absolute shit. Giveaway after giveaway.

He's got 13 points on a 6 game point streak and had 3 assists tonight. McDavid is fine.

What isn't fine is a .785 sv% outing from our .892 sv% "starting" goalie.

Stuart Skinner with an absolute epic choke job again. He's so mentally fragile within games.
knob inexplicably puts McDrai together and they proceed to be on the ice for 3 goals against. He inexplicably breaks up Oilers best line this year (Drai’s) and make themselves a one line team

Team effort.

Abysmal team defending gets cooked with a no stop goaltending performance not able to mitigate the mistakes. Live by the Bouch Bomb sometimes die by a still developing elite. His fire drill game started early with the costly PK goal given up and really struggled all game whether getting shots through or egregiously trying to defend a hard area, aggressive forechecking team (without its best player). Neither goal was good but the $10 million guy saved his own team's debacle night with a late game elite save.

No doubt market on the calendar this was not a very good team effort with way, way, way too many turnovers with the ice tilting to their end of the ice. Letdown after a good run that featured the Oil tilting ice, team defending well, and goaltenders making stops.

Disappointing to lose when so much is self-induced.

Islands in the stream.
Honestly, can't hate that was an entertaining game. Some brutal defensive lapses and Skinner was in shit mode tonight but I was entertained. On to the next one
Sorry but the game was horrible. from a purist POV both teams played games their coaches would be screaming at, or should, and both goalies were complete garbage. If I had attended this game I'd want my money back. If I paid Prime a quarter to watch this I would want money back. This was a game that was full of terrible miscues by both clubs and really from whole teams. With Skinner being the worst of any of the players on ice.

Skinner and Bouchard had absolute stinkers tonight, but Adam Henrique is not an NHL caliber center. I'm sorry. This guy basically gives the opposing team an extra forward every time he steps on the ice. I haven't seen a player so consistently hemmed in his own zone and incapable of making plays on the puck since the Fall for Hall days when we were trotting out the likes of JF Jacques.

Yeh I agree. Besides the shit show defence and lack of saves. There was a lot of good the oilers did too. I enjoyed the skill and execution.

Believe it or not, there are people who actually believe this goalie (from his entire body of work plus playoffs) can lead us to a cup.

it's fascinating to me. You could physically see with your eyes from the first 10 min he didn't have it tonight. He was lost.

And Bouch was trash tonight. Worse than trash. Ekholm looked like dung too. Still, 6 should not have gone in

And that is the thing, even when the other goalie is trash, Skinner has to One down him lol
Even if he never plays a game down the stretch, the Oilers need another veteran goalie in the system.

Knoblauch must be upset that the guys didn't blow the other team more kisses. JFC, Florida turned this game around with physical play. Knoblauch needs to grow a pair and remember this is hockey, and hitting serves a legitimate purpose.
