So with Muzzin in a red jersey again today, is it a foregone conclusion he's out tomorrow? Does he need a full-contact practice as per NHL rules, or is it a suggested thing by the training staff?

Eh. Think the loss of Forbort and a less than 100% Muzzin affects the odds to Vegas's favor.

Oddsmakers cut the betting lines to where they predict half of the betters will take each side, then if it skews one way, they move the line until it approximately equalizes. This way, one side pays the other and the book keeps the vigorish with no risk.

There is a lot of emotional money going on VGK by locals, and I'm certain this affects the line. If it where the Kansas City Golden Knights, I would guess the line would be closer to pick em.

Muzzin being out will be tough on the Kings. That means more minutes than Martinez and Phaneuf are used to playing.

Just FYI...I have two extras to both home games if you are still looking for tickets. We can avoid 3rd party fees. PM me if interested.

We're the least discussed series on the main board haha. Boston v Toronto is already on page 83. We're on page 10.

As of this afternoon (after practice), Muzzin is still not ruled out for game 1. They sound hopeful, and if he is out for a game, it couldn't be more than one.

"[Stevens] On Jake Muzzin’s availability for Game 1:
We don’t know yet. We got him in a couple practices here. It was really good to get him in practice from a timing standpoint. He’s been working hard to keep his legs going and really working hard to keep his energy up this time of the year, but it’s important as soon as a guy can practice to get him in practice, and we’ve had the luxury of a couple days of practice here. He’s coming along, but we’re not sure."

Forbort also not "officially" out for the series, but it's a certainty he will be out for the start of it. It's probably doubtful we see him, but it's interesting that Steven's didn't outright say he was out, and that only he was for sure out for the start. So, no ACL/MCL-type tear, one would assume. Maybe hyperextension?

There aren't many Vegas posters on the site while most of us generally don't play in the Main Board sewer, for the most part.

No surprise that all the WC ones are the lowest, save for the one WC series with a Canadian team.

Well, 4 of the 5 TSN hosts have us going to the WCF, but losing to the Preds or Jets. Even Craig Button likes us for a change, Ray Fararo, not so much..
