Hey, are these guys Brickley and Rempal eligible to play in this playoff series? I only ask because I might have heard Faust proclaim otherwise during the last couple of broadcasts. I might of heard wrong, though, or Faust may have said wrong (IF he said it.....).....

Thanks!!!

PS: I'd play Brickley over Purple Fanta if it comes down to it. Just seems tougher and quicker out there....

And Brickley is not eligible.

forget the regular season games & stats.

playoffs are a different animal, and nothing else matters.

kings know that. remember, they won it by coming back from 0-3, not once, and it was not in any script. and remember games 7, they could write a tutorial about them.

kings have that extra gear. just relax, watch the game & have fun. it will be epic.

know-how - yes.
talent - yes.
form - yes.
coaching - yes.
guts - yes.
and the will to do it once again - oh yes.

gkg!

Maybe it's just me, but I call that a B.S. ruling. The dude already played an NHL game. Yet is magically barred from the NHL playoffs?! Total B.S. rule!!!!!

If he wasn't on the roster before the NHL trade deadline, then he's not eligible for the playoffs.

If Reaves targets a King than a King needs to target a high profile Knight. That's how you stop Reaves.

Fighting Reaves will only leave a King injured...although didn't Clifford have a decisive victory over him while in St. Louis?

Kings have never ever done that with this current group and I highly doubt they'll start now.

When has a star player on the kings been targeted by a Reaves type? I don't think it really happens much anymore, but if it were I think that is how it should be addressed.

Practically guaranteed we'll see Reaves at some point in the series. Also practically guaranteed he hurts someone legally or illegally. Also practically guaranteed no one can handle him but will have to fight him at some point anyway, though I'd prefer to clown him like we usually do. It's the playoffs, not a one-off regular season game, you can't hide from people here unless you're Malkin.

Too bad we can't get Regehr or MacDermid here right now. But our most effective defense against Reaves is that he helped us win our last game.

He's 100% going after Doughty. Probably the guy the Kings can least afford to lose (maybe Quick?) and he'll remember Doughty laughing in his face from the last time they played.

If Reaves pulls any of his antics and tries to injure a Kings player, any Kings player, he needs to be swiftly taken care of. Can't let this ****ing clown run around and pull his usually nonsense. This is where I'm glad we have Phaneuf. Reaves is a clown that relies on clownshow behavior to turn the tables, make him pay.

Kings should have MacDermid up for the playoffs. Guarantee you Reaves will run around. He's not scared of Clifford who he knocked down years ago and refuses to fight him now.

After the Kings, i have seen the most games from Vegas.

Hopefully Muzzin will play positionally sound hockey because he is the slowest defender on the team. I expect him to be one of the worst. Marchessault impresses me everytime.

Its a miracle Vegas has done so well with such a backend too. I expect we will outplay them for most games and still loose.

Why are you guys worried about reaves. Hes just a goon that hurts his team in more ways than one. As Ziggy said, they've already beat st Louis while reaves was on that team. If he dresses it will be less than 8 minutes of ice time and hopefully he takes a few penalties for being stupid.

I hope Reaves plays a lot. While he is tough, he does not play the Vegas game (speed and passing). To me, he is our secret weapon to slowing them down by his team trying to follow his leads in the physically department.

Why do some fans care about matching tough guy for tough guy, especially in the playoffs. It's something that I will never for the life of me understand.

As Ziggy said, Reaves was in the lineup for two previous series against the Kings, the Kings went 8-2 in those games and Reaves was terrible. He's literally the last player on the Knights that anyone should be worrying about.

If Muzzin plays then it seems like he's going to be the one that plays with Doughty too. Martinez with Folin and Phaneuf protecting LaDue.

If Reaves is going to hurt one of the Kings players, there is nothing to stop him from doing so. The issue would then be the Kings needing to match that response in a similar fashion.

Kings have no answer for Reaves in the physical department. If a game gets out of hand, hopefully someone can just engage in a hug fest with him and he gets thrown out.

Clifford has never beat him. Reaves actually turned Clifford into a punching bag by KO'ing him at Staples. Clifford hasn't been the same since and ducks Reaves every time.

Would not be surprised if Clifford winds up having to go with him during this series.

Wait, what? People are fretting over Reaves in this thread? Go to CVS and pick up some man pills, stat! I'm sure Stevens and company are game planning right now for a no talent 4th liner who averages 7 minutes of ice time a game.
