How is Florida's D system able to win so much--because it is pretty much a consensus among HF posters that:
Montour is terrible in his own zone
Ekblad is one of the most overrated D in the league
OEL hasn't been any good sine 2018.
Forsling is good--but not anywhere near Fox

So the last few years Bob is succeeding in front of system with one of the worst D in the league????
As a Bruins fan, the eye test says otherwise. Their D is physical, jumps up into offense well, clogs the slot and blocks a lot of shot(doesn't seem to allow a lot of high danger shots. Every team gives up breakaways). they are the sum of their parts, not dependent on any one stud.
They get great support from their forwards. It's a very good system with the pieces they have in place.
Forsling is a classic late bloomer. While no Fox(not that he looked that good in the Semi's), he is a damn good D-man.
I still say Bob is better in a good system, than being a Savior type, like Hellybuyck.
Once again look at his Playoff stats for his career. They are not that great.

I'm pretty sure OP thinks that the NHL only had Russian players. Also, lol has he had to break a sweat these playoffs? He had one good game this series and that was game 1 and one bad game where the Rangers actually challenged him and he came up short. Rest of the games he could have had a nap on the ice and we wouldn't even know the difference. From what I've seen in the Boston series it was the same case.
You missed some parts of the games vs the Bruins, I would say.

Lmao if you think he comes anywhere near Carey Price, if we're talking "last decade" here's a list of goalies clearly better than Bob

Price
Vasi
Helle
Lundqvist
Rinne
Luongo

Bob is somewhere in the 10 ish range of goalies of the last decade. Not even close to being 2nd.

This is such a weird list. Look at the wins over that time period. You are naming goalies that have been retired for years.

They still played within the decade.
If you only want to go back 5 years, then that includes Bob's performances that lead to Florida breaking Spencer Knight in search of a better option.
He's a very good goalie, at times, just not a HHOF'er. A cup and multiple Vezinas don't erase the larger volume of average and a couple of sub average years.

It completely changes the story to go from one of the best goaltenders over the last ten or so years to just naming every goaltender that’s played at any point in the last ten years.

Bobrovsky is unique in terms of straddling both DPE 2.0 and the high scoring contemporary. Most of the DPE 2.0 goalies couldn’t make the transition.

Now if he wins another Vezina, and FLA wins this years and next. That changes the narrative. Time will tell. As of today doesn't meet the Roy, Belfour, Hasek, Brodeur, Luongo level. Those are the last 5 goalies to go in, IIANM.

No salt, just reality. You Panther fans have a great team, it's disrespectful to what they've accomplished to believe he's the reason you've become so successful. His stats don't scream HOF.
You folks beat the crap out of everyone you play. Out shoot teams ~ 2:1.
It's way more than him.
Put him on a team where he is consistently out shot 2:1 and he would not be a top 5 goalie.
His career in both CBS and FLA(the start) say otherwise.
That being said he has a great chance to get his name on the Cup this year.

Which one of them was retired in 2014?
Price, Lundqvist, Rinne, Luongo are all retired. Including them here is cringe and super bad faith. Like Luongo has 116 wins over the last 10 seasons, or 11.6 wins per season, lmao.

Since you misinterpreted my question, again, which one of them was retired in 2014 ?

All 4 of those goalies had more consistent careers than Bob. His end of CBS(including choking in the PO's) and beginning of FLA(the burden of the contract) speaks too loudly to make him a HOF'er.
Very good goalie yes, one of the best ever, no way.

How exactly does SCF appearances matter? Cups matter and he has never shown the ability to win when it counts.

Dude was a consensus albatros contract 18 months ago

He's had a crazy career...

Definitely a huge benefit to be behind that club. I don't think he's a lock but he'll have more years to add to his resume. By the time he's done I think it'll be a HOF resume. And he could very well win the cup this year, that'd really help him.

He's not even the best Russian goalie of this generation, Vasilevskiy is.
Imagine TWO Russian goalies getting voted into the hall of fame?! Unspeakable!

Bobrovsky’s won two Vezina Trophies. That alone is enough for an HoF lock, imo.

Who leads the NHL in wins over the last 10 years? Keep trying to move the goalposts, it's a bad look
I'm not moving any goal posts ? lmao what are you going on about ?

OP made a claim he's 2nd best goalie of the past decade, I'm asking you a simple question. Which of those goalies who have played in the last decade, couple even made finals, is he better than ? Stay triggered when challenged.
