I need a gal like Triss in my life.

Jesus, I googled imaged this and saw some pretty sweet anime nude pics... Figured I could also use some Triss in my life. Especially some of those hottie Cosplay girls... Damn, things done changed, apparently hot chicks are nerds too

Hmm.

What do you do when you are arguing with someone that reads over your arguments, takes things out of proportions to fit their own argument, puts words in your mouth, swears, and contradicts themselves but cannot see it?

Welcome to HF board... ;)

Hey.

Did you know google tailors your search results to your past searches?

Would you like to confess something to the rest of us? :naughty:

LOL at the guy who claims videogames are somehow better than television.

Videogames suck now. The industry peaked with Super Nintendo and it's been all downhill since. Once upon a time you actually had to do stuff in videogames, now it's all aimless walking like you're heading to Mordor to destroy a ring.

I still play videogames but honestly, no game has blown me away in nearly a decade. I just play because it's a time-waster.

I was just thinking how a game like Myst would be embraced if it was put on the market today. A game where you had no prior understanding of the story, no manual, no user guides but instead you had to use your brain and figure out stuff. I wonder how today's youth would take to that...

Youtube's suggestions need to be based less on what have you watched lately. One video can have too much influence on it

the ads are becoming quite annoying here.

Hit reply and voila a nice full screen ad you were referring to.
I'm slowly killing off hf posting and reading because of them. An ad is one thing. A full screen ad after almost every click is unbearable.
no more mobile HFing for me.

It's 2015 and people are still seeing ads on the internet!

What a time to be alive.

I started watching the original Dragon Ball for the first time in my life. (Not SBZ). It is absolutely hilarious.

The original Dragon Ball is much, much better than DBZ. DBZ was a cool manga but a horrible TV show (outside of the music, so many great tracks in DBZ)

Just got back from seeing Mad Max Fury Road. It was quite good but I must admit to feeling that the praise it has been getting is considerably over-the-top: it was a really fun, solid action flick; nothing more, nothing less. 8.7/10 on IMDB strikes me as ridiculous/outrageous.

The overwhelming praise for mad max made me go - hmm, maybe is should see this -> wow, i guess i should see this -> i better see this! -> actually, probably better not see this.
I avoided seeing the matrix for a couple of months because of this progression of overhype and only ended up seeing it in the theatre at all because a friend got me in for free.

Don't blame you. I do agree with DMST — it was admittedly a bit overhyped. But, being the first movie I've seen in theaters in a while, I found it really enjoyable. What I found to be deserving of the praise, though, was the lengths to which the writers went to ensure a solid Mad Max feel to the movie. Letting the adventure come to Max instead of the other way around.

Well it is the same original director and writer. George miller.
Otherwise, probably would be quite crappy in comparison.

I liked Millar's approach with NO CGI. Too many filmmakers use CGI as a crutch in lieu of traditional film-making. Every road scene was incredible because it was real.

Totally agree. It's why I loved Death Proof as well. All car stunts with zero CGI.

Also is there a way to disable ads on your mobile device? If so please tell me!

I also cast my lot in with the "no CGI" group.

Nothing ruins a movie worse than seeing it 6 months after it came out and already feeling like it's dated. I mean, I hated the original "Sam Raimi/ Tobey MacGuire" Spiderman movie, but I hate it even more because holy crap, have you seen that movie lately? The CGI looks like it's done with Crayon.

Give me props and prosthetics any day. There's a reason that Return of the Jedi looks better than any of the three prequels, despite the decades-long time gap between them.
