Main. Turning the lounge into instagram one post at a time.

I just can't wait to get that infraction one of these days when I post pictures form the SU football games in the NCAA GDT.

"The NCAA GDT is for forum members to discuss events occurring at each game and provide updates on games for collaboration. It is not your personal twitter feed."

Here you are Main.

Vesa's confessions a new life in Winnipeg week 2.

Good start to new life in dorms made lots of friends and my roommates seems awesome. Was interviewed by CBC and got my name in the paper too. Unfortunately half way week i messed up. After a class i texted a friend from Calgary who i stayed up with me the night before talking about movies. I asked her if she wanted to hang out. She said yes. She asked if we could listen to music in my dorm. I said yes, just text or knock on my door when you want to hang. So later that day she knocks on my door and i invite her in. IMMEDIATELy she asks if we can go into my room and listen to music. I say sure. I sit on my bed and she asks if she can sit beside me. I say sure. I'm starting to get the idea she might be interested in me. So i ask her if she's single. She says yes but i dont really date. At this point i feel it is my duty as a man to make some sort of move but alas the way the window was open in a way i could not put my arm around her. So i go for my second move and put my hand on the outside of her thigh.... She flips out almost crying and says i feel really bad because its your birthday(Did i neglect to mention it was my birthday)I ask if she would like to do something else. She says i think ill just go and she leaves almost crying. The next day i text her and she say i think you should apologize. I say i'm sorry and i hope we can move on(i dont really mean it).

Am i in the wrong or did she lead me on? Anyways..

That weekend a bunch of us from dorms go to a club. She comes along. At the club im dancing with some girl who asks if we can go back to my place...(This wasnt instant this is after 2hours) I say sure but lets dance for awhile. I get a text message from Emily(the first girl) saying where are you i need your help. So i leave the girl im with(shes probably a skank) to find Emily. Turns out she just wanted to know where everyone was.... I ask her to dance later that night she says no and says i only like you as a friend but in a much meaner way(i dont remember)Later on that night i bump into my ex girlfriend from 2 years ago(i was going to marry her) who does not live in Winnipeg so it was VERY surprising to see her. We talk for a bit she says she loves me and i say i love her and we make out. That night before bed i text Emily well drunk telling her im deleting your number so could you please delete mine. She says ok. The next morning i get on facebook only to see that my ex girlfriend who said she loved me just started a new relationship... with another man named Vesa. Im shocked so i text her and right away she says "I dont remember. You looked angry to see me". Being the nice guy i am i said nothing happened we just said our final good byes and that for the first time i finally felt like she was a memory.. A good memory thats better left in the past.

Week 3

To make things short..
I get a date with a really beautiful German girl who has lived in Canada for 6 years. She is super sexual and right off the bat says somethings that i find vulgar. We talk for a few days before the date over snapchat and i start to get the feeling she wants to cancel. So i ask her if she wants to cancel. She says yes. I screw up my chances with the extremely attractive german vegan and she goes on to have a purely sexual relationship with another man. In between canceling our date and her starting her sexual relationship she asked if she could spend the night at my place and i said no.(Vesa is looking for a relationship)

So heres where Vesa sits now. ExGF gone, german girl's friend who lives next to me gone, german gone, bar skank gone, Sidney gone(theres another girl i neglected to mention) and Emily gone. What makes things worse is now a mutual friend between me and Emily seems to be avoiding me.(She is also a very attractive girl) and... my roommate hooked up with another friend of mine and now her and her roommate(she apparently was drunk and doesnt like him) dont want to hang out as much. So thats 9 girls lol. Add that to the fact that most girls in dorms have boyfriends too.

Vesa Awesaka's Winnipeg EXPRIENCE

p.s. I also was sick for three days with a virus, got verbally assaulted for 20 mins by a homeless man and went to the forks.

Last thing

My funniest text to the German girl.

Vesa "Who's your favorite Game Of Thrones character?"

German Girl "I don't watch Game Of Thrones."

Vesa "Me neither. I hate that show."

Stay tuned for the next Vesa's Confessions...

Frigging Winnipeg, man.

Nothing good happens in the 'Peg. Even less so if for some reason you have angered every god from ever culture in existence and have the misfortune of finding yourself stranded in Brandon.

**** Brandon, Manitoba.

Also: Swift Current, Sask... you're not getting off that easy. You can join your little pal Brandon on my ****list.

They're not your friends. They are unholy agents from a place time forgot, who are pretending to be your friends for some nefarious purpose.

Like harvesting your kidneys.

I'm not saying they're evil, but I am saying they're not NOT evil.

Dorm's an awesome place to meet people. Hell, just leave your door open while playing video games. That's usually enough to get people to stop in, say hi and comment on the game in some way. Boom, easiest ice-breaker ever.

I convinced my roommate to come with me and knock on everyones door and invite them to the lounge to listen to music and drink on the second day. Dont be afraid to knock on someones door. Dorms arent like apartments, people are all in the same boat moving to a new place. Make some friends

An Edmonton fan at work just bet me 20 bucks that the Oil will finish ahead of Ottawa in the standings this year. Easiest money I've ever made.

I 100% agree. Also, I recommend keeping your door wide open. I made a ton of friends that way. The goal is that your room turns into Jerry's apartment from Seinfeld. People just walk in.

What if I end up with a Kramer though?

When I went there, I had a good buddy who was living in the Dorms at the U of M. It was an incredibly social place, and he ended up liking it a lot. The main issue is avoiding temptation to goof off during exam periods.

I'm sure you'll love it there and you'll make loads of great friends.
