I know that I've seen the Goonies more than once as a kid, but honestly can't remember a single detail about the movie.

The THing. The original one with Kurt Russel is on my 80s movie list. Still better than all the horror/monster stuff they're putting out today.

The Carpenter version of The Thing is a really good movie, but I prefer the classic one from the 1950s. It's a bit dated now with 50s ideology & effects, but the interplay and dialog between the characters was amazing. Kinda funny how watching that one today, the 'mad' scientist might actually be classified as tragic hero.

I know that I've seen the Goonies more than once as a kid, but honestly can't remember a single detail about the movie.

These days, the main thing that sticks with me is the Cyndi Lauper music video.

People like a lot of terrible stuff.

So I don't consider Bronies to be different than most people in that regard.
