So eating toothpaste is bad because fluoride but drinking water with fluoride is beneficial.

On really quick searches:

Flouride is added to water to bring it up to around 1.0 ppm.
Toothpaste is at something like 1000ppm.

The 'safe' level per EPA guidelines for flouride is 2.0 ppm.

As with any mineral or vitamin, there's a level at which point a substance becomes toxic to the human body.

Is it OK to formally quit via email ? I already told my boss I'm gonna be leaving, but wasn't sure when. Now I am. I can't stand this environment anymore. Even if I don't have anything else, I just can't bare another week of this crap.

Are you expecting to get any sort of letter of reference?
Is this a job or a career position?

Basically if you want to be able to refer to it in the future, put in your two weeks notice formally in person and just grin and bear it for the last two weeks without burning bridges.

Hand in a formal letter of resignation. Most places will pay you your final week or two and let you leave. Check your employee policy guideline. Your work may require two weeks notice.

Got tired of having students write your name with hearts around it, eh stud? I don't blame you. It's been happening to me for 34 years. I get it.

Yep, us ridiculously, ridiculously good looking people just have it tough sometimes. The "Norms" don't understand. They never will... at least, not without cheek implants.

Haha, the flirty students aren't the problem. It's the crappy business that's making me wanna jump out the window. Boss is a scoundrel and I rarely get correctly paid or on time. Only one of my coworkers tries to talk to me, because she's the only one who speaks English

We have no guidelines. I get random schedules Sunday nights. Some weeks I get lots of work.... Some weeks I get 5-10 hours. There's no direction in the company, and I'm usually left to pick up the pieces everyone else leaves behind (and get blamed if the company succeeds or not). I won't even be able to pay my bills this month.

And I never even signed a contract

If you're a 4-year-old, do not stick toothpaste up your nose. Or try to give any to the dog.

Yesterday a small Alberta town that is very Mormon voted to put fluoride in their water, and continue the ban on playing sports at public facilities on Sunday, alcohol, and backyard hens

And.......

I'm not sure what the problem is. Residents can buy alcohol and bring it into the town, they just can't get it IN the town. Considering the town in 90% LDS, sale of alcohol would not be sufficient enough to offset the problems alcohol will bring to the town and the local reserve.

Backyard hens bring backyard rodents, and mountain lions, which have been spotted in the area according to local officials.

As stated by other fluoride has been used by many other municipalities, not exactly a radical move.

As for the sports on Sunday, once again, it is a small town with little to no sports to begin with. Not sure why CBC is so interested in this, if anything I would be surprised that the town actually took a vote on it and that it was Mormons who wanted it on the ballot.
