Hi everyone! I'm new and thought I would introduce myself in this post since it seems to be the "off topic" one.... hope that's ok
I find myself reading these boards increasingly often so I figured I would finally register. And I thought it was kind of funny that on a website with as many users as this, I was able to actually get my first name as my username. I guess that's the perk to being a girl on a hockey forum?

I thought Solaris (Clooney version) was fantastic. I have no idea why it received such poor ratings. I tried watching the Russian version and I just can't stand the old late-70's-style fake acting.

The original movie is really cool bu t it's hard to deny that the 2002 version was also excellent.

The book though... It's something else for sure. Anyone who likes SciFi and philosophy needs to read it: it's all about the limits of human understanding and it's fascinating

Absolutely fantastic framing. It's like the negative space is saying that the inches become an absolute void of raw emotion trapped inside the theater lobby, which represents the futility of the human condition.
