Nope. Wheat is good carbohydrates. Mars bars are bad carbohydrates.

And not all cereals have wheat in them. Oatmeal doesn't have wheat in it.

Wouldn't an increased blood sugar burn more calories?

Look up insulin sensitivity and insulin response.

Oatmeal is good.
Wheat is "bad" depending on where you stand on the gluten argument.

Tapioca starch is also tasty for use as wraps... The gf introduced me to that since it's apparently common to do with breakfast in Brazil.

Spiking blood sugar is a broscience trick for gains since insulin is one of the most anabolic hormones in the body. But generally increased sugar means that it goes to fat stores if you aren't burning it off.

You base wheat being good on what? And no, the glycogen is stored in your body and that is what eventually turns you into a fatty. Bread does more harm than a Mars bar. Bread has some nice **** like fibre and protein which is not present in Mars bars. Do some real research on the effects of modern wheat on the human body, and you'll never want to eat it again.

Bread sucks. Im not talking about that.

Wheat is good carbohydrates based on the carbs being fibre and not sugar.

Veggie burgers are good if they're made fresh. But since that's really tough to access all the time then Boca Burgers work for me.

never tried boca burgers but heard about them. have you tried gardein ultimate, or sol burgers? comparison?

Since I got into the Gardenin beefless tips I then saw the veggie burgers and the chicken parm. My experience was somewhat tainted due to my freezer setup. Typically when you get veggie burgers they're frozen but separated. Somehow my bag had all 4 burgers stuck together and I WAS FOOKING HUNGRY so I threw them in the microwave, which made them soft on the outside but still frozen in the middle, and eventually it turned out to be a big mess. Chicken was not great as it was small in portion and shrunk considerably in the nuker.

I'll have to try them again and let you know. The beefless tips are definitely awesome tho.

melt those slices on the burger while it's cooking and you should get to liking it pretty quick.

I've had the tofurky hot dogs and didn't like them. I realize it's difficult to get this in a veggie dog but I really miss the crisp snap of biting into a hot dog.

Vegenaise is awesome tho - and it contains less saturated fat & cholesterol per serving than regular mayo.
