Driving the west end of Ottawa, i went by bayshore, lincoln fields, carlingwood, and westgate, all shopping malls undergoing big changes. I wonder how they will turn out now that we have gotten so used to online shopping. Where are all the teenagers and retirees hanging out now?

That part of it does suck...especially for the elderly and daytime mall walkers.

I would like to think communities can get on board by renting space for community centers, retraining (adult education) classroom and things like that. It will bring people to the malls and help solidify the mall as part of the community, rather than a simple building full of stores.

Oh geez. Not a baseball guy, so my interpretation might be wrong here... but if the pitcher feinted toward first, is that not a balk? Is it only a balk if it's faked to second or third?

Certainly has to be close to a balk from my understanding. Like video replay close. If his foot is touching the rubber/plate.

Not sure its a balk if he moved his foot towards first rather than home before faking the throw. I saw a similar play once where the the pitcher threw to 1st and then the 1st baseman faked throwing it back to the pitcher. Everyone played along. The runner then thinking the ball was back with the pitcher took a lead off 1st and the 1st baseman just tagged him out. Might been Pete Rose as the 1st baseman i cant remember.
