Wow, quite the read on Montreal's board.

They are almost as insecure as Toronto fans. Actually both Toronto and Montreal fan bases need to grow up.

Yes there is a secret plan to only play goons against them. Has nothing to do with giving the bubble players a good look.

I guess the 4th liners aren't supposed to play in the exhibition games according to Montreal fans.

You would think a little common sense would apply but we are talking Habs fans...

That's what happens when they've had one tough player in the last 20 years.

They're a bit unhinged when it comes to run of the mill physical play.

That's interesting in general and with respect to Montreal. The other thing is the Boston is still relatively high in comparison to teams like Buffalo & Ottawa. Vegas and bookmakers make a living off this kind of thing so there's a tendency to be right.

Well, Boston just came off a 135 point season.

Even losing the guys they did, until they drop 40 points or something in the standings, it's hard to believe.

Looks like we’re playing a potential set line in each game so far.

If Pinto continues to sit, Kub, Bailey, Joseph could be the third line with Bailey holding the spot until Pinto signs.

That’s assuming that Grieg starts in the A for seasoning.

There's not a chance Bailey plays centre for us. Well...there shouldn't be a chance at least.

I wasn’t looking forward to this game much, but now I’m actually thinking it will be fun to keep an eye on how the top two lines do together in Jon-sheltered minutes, and to watch Brann anchor the top D line

It has nothing to do with goons.

It's every single forward competing for a bottom six role and every single defenceman competing for a bottom pairing role.

(I mean, aside from Jarventie, but he's going to the AHL as a top six guy anyway)

It's so blazingly obvious.
