Chris Wideman will be a Group VI UFA at the end of the season unless the Sens sign him to a new contract before July 1st...hardly a prospect anymore.

Here would be my top 10 list without Pageau & Lazar:

1. LW Matt Puempel
2. C/LW Nick Paul
3. D Fredrik Claesson
4. D Andreas Englund
5. LW Shane Prince
6. D Mikael Wikstrand
7. C Ryan Dzingel
8. D Ben Harpur
9. LW Tobias Lindberg
10. G Marcus Hogberg

No blue chippers IMO. Ugly.

Meh, a lot of our good young players are in the NHL. Our list will look pretty good after 3 top 60 picks this summer.

Agreed. Putting Lazar onto the NHL roster means no first round picks for past couple of years eligible for the list. That has an impact. If you count all players 23 and under regardless of whether they are already in the NHL I think the talent level looks pretty decent. Plus, as you say, we are going to get some choice picks in the upcoming draft.

Ugly? Not sure that word is appropriate when we have like 12 guys under 25 y/o in the line-up and just graduated those :

Lazar, Ceci, Stone, Hoffman and Pageau. And even Wideman will be too old to be considered a prospect.

That's a lot of talent to lose in just ONE season... But IMO the pool still looks decent. Sure, Bingo doesn't have a great season so no one there really shines and they lost A LOT of talent in the off-season in SDC, Hoffman and Stone.

My top-20 atm :

1. Matt Puempel
2. Shane Prince
3. Nick Paul
4. Mikael Wikstrand
5. Fredrick Claesson
6. Tobias Lindberg
7. Ryan Dzingel
8. Andreas Englund
9. Ben Harpur
10. Marcus Hogberg
11. Max McCormick
12. Alex Guptill
13. Buddy Robinson
14. Vincent Dunn
15. Francis Perron
16. Cole Schneider
17. Chris Driedger
18. Robert Baillargeon
19. Miles Gendron
20. Quentin Shore

I still see between 5 and 10 future NHLers there with maybe 3-4 quality players..

Fixed.

Well there isn't a single first line forward (maybe? Dzingel). And I don't think there's a top 4 defensman there either. It's defenitely a decent pool. Full of players that will be good Nhlers most likely in the bottom six. I can understand where someone wouldn't be so stoked about it. Anyone there that will be a gamebreaker? Maybe not. A game in game out difference maker? Maybe not. Some solid Nhlers in there though.

I'm curious... Who do Prince and Puempel remind you of stylistically compared to current NHL players?

Only one i could think for Puempel was Neal and i couldnt think of one for Prince.
