Where the Cup is
Wasn't that all because Prince's sister made some asinine tweet, and everyone got their gonch in a twist over it?

"BonkTastic":

Correct his sister made the tweet and no matter how many times you tell people that here they do not believe it, and keep telling me it was Shane who made the tweet..... I give up already.............

what should i make of Tobias Lindberg's season? 50 points in 42 games with 19 being goals as a 19 year old in his first ohl season?

17th in ohl points well being bottom of the league in pims
16th among under 20 player

He is gonna be a player for us, a good one at that. I was calling him being a top 10 scorer in the CHL before the season began but that was a bit premature.

hes projecting favorably with guys who were taken as high as the second round. Nice to see him go that way rather then go the other

He plays on a very good team, plays first unit PP(pretty sure it's operating at 30%). He seemed a little soft at the beginning of the year but now I'd say he's even fiesty at times now.

Anyone have an update on Marcus Hogberg?

I recall him being the top European goalie in his draft year. I see he's on loan to the second tier, but generally appears to have OK stats.

Sens put Culek on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.

Oh well. He wasn't doing a single thing to make anyone think he'd be an NHL player. Or even really a good AHL player.

I remember hearing how Prince and Pageau would have to wait their turn after Culek though. Those two were obviously ECHL players. :sarcasm:

New Top 10 Prospects List

I know that an extensive list is done in the Summer.
With a break in the schedule and some recent 'graduates', I thought it might be interesting to get everyone's take on their list.

For the purpose of this thread, I am not including Hoffman and Stone (now over 65 games) and I am also not including Pageau (12 games to graduation) or Lazar, who will likely graduate before the end of the year.

I am basing my list on the player's future potential.

1. F Shane Prince
2. F Matt Puempel
3. F Nick Paul
4. D Andreas Englund
5. D Mikael Wikstrand
6. D Fredrik Claesson
7. F Tobias Lindberg
8. G Marcus Hogberg
9. D Ben Harpur
10. F Quentin Shore

What about Wideman?

Was thinking about Wideman but it looks like he just turned 25 and I think that puts Him out of contention by HF rules.

Personally, I really he gets a chance at the big club at some point this year. I would really like to see what he can do. For the sake of my list, I left Him off.
