no you're not supposed to try and finish your man on every play. thats what made boro such a bad defensive play.

If Brady challenges him with his stick he perhaps gets the puck, and even if the d-man gets the pass off Brady would have been right there to pressure the receiver and not let them have so much space.

The breakdown was all the result of Brady.

The only way to have prevented that play if you're Tkachuk would be to cheat to the boards and block the rim pass. Which means he would have blown the coverage in the D zone.

Nice to see Tierney playing well. Last season cannot have been fun for him. He was never my whipping boy but last year he and Dadonov were clearly our worst fwds imo. Does a ton for us if he can be a legit top 9er again.
