He’s not a top six center right now. He’s an out and out passenger against good competition. And that’s fine he’s a rookie.

Bottom line is this. Before the red wings game there was legit hope and an easy schedule. We came out with 4 out of the next 7 games being complete duds. That just not acceptable. And people should be held accountable. We weren’t even competitive. Like 7 game easyish stretch. And we do nothing. Barely compete.

The coach needs to be asked hard questions. And tkatchuk, Chabot and giroux need to be asked hard questions.

He made one change and that one change was to flip debrincat to a wing he hasn’t really ever played at the NHL level.

When your whole identity is hard work and hard to play against(+dump and chase) and ultimately you none of these.. There is a problem.

But is it the coach's fault if they play lazy? I feel last year they were playing so much harder overall. The dcore is a physically weak one.

The bottom 6 plays the way DJ likes it, but it's not the bottom 6 that should make you win most of your game.

The bottom six is doing nothing to make us win games. That’s a massive issue lol.

I can’t look at any of our guys and call them “lazy”. Except maybe batherson and Chabot at times.

I was fully into the football game after we went down 2-0 early. I almost went to bed after the chargers went up 27-0, really happy I kept watching until the end though.

That game was a season low for me. I'm still trying to process it.

We were down two, gaining a bit of momentum and Tkachuk turns it over at the blue line. That's unacceptable. I couldn't even tell if that was an errant pass or a weak dump in.

Forsberg has to save a couple of those

I quietly suggested last summer that we should/would trade Thomas Chabot. At this point, we're going to enter sweetener territory to get rid of his deal.

1. Chabot and/or Batherson need to be moved.

2. More size on D (that can play).

3. More speed , size and scoring in the bottom 6. If Formenton isn’t in the plans he needs to be replaced. No more Motte, Brassard playing 3rd line.

4. New coaching staff.

Ya, I switched to the NFL game after it the Avs scored the 5th goal. That was a much more entertaining option than the Senators game.

Senators have done poorly against the good/decent Western Conference teams.

Senators have a ways to go before they will be legit (a strong playoff team that can win some rounds).

Getting Berard would be a dream, but this draft is hyped to be one of the best (for the top 15 or so picks) ever. A lot of really high end talent this year.
