To me he looks like he has all the tools to be a top-6 player, but clearly isn't ready to be that now against top comp. In fact it might be seriously messing with his confidence and development.

New owners needs to clear management and coaching

New management hires new coaching staff. The new GM retools the rebuild

We have some very good pieces, we need to groom them properly, surround them by the right support players

Chabot for example, think about how much losing he has been developed with.
