Uhhhh that's exactly what you are saying. Why else would you bring it up..... You even said 'just saying'.

It makes absolutely no sense either. Same thing as having it in Kanata. Just saying.

did you miss the bold text?
Now, I’m not suggesting this location would be ideal for an NHL arena”

Yes, but Markham also looks like a cardboard town. All the tight builds and McMansions. There's not much imagination or creativity with the builds down that. Same with all those satellite trendy areas surrounding Toronto.
I think you are thinking of the western part, the new eastern part is kind of interesting.

Since the NCC moved to multiple parcels after RV Lebreton collapsed I’ve wondered how a new owner would make a new Lebreton rink viable without any of the additional parcels.
was wondering this too if other groups are looking at other locations. The real estate play seems to be why there is a lot of interest in this project

So you are telling me that the new parts of Barrhaven and Orleans are so much better? Welcome to construction in the 2000's my friend!

No, they aren't.

The past 20 years have been shitty for builders overall. Except maybe the widespread implementation of home offices and gyms. But outside asthetics and structure quality...woof.

so, I don't know what this means; don't know how much $ it means to Ryan, but I'm prepared to take this and run with how this affects the Sens sale.

Ok he brought that all together with the last line.
Is that a callback to his comments on the tonight show?

“It’s very expensive,” Reynolds added. “I need a partner with really deep pockets. It’s called a consortium … when you form a group together to buy an entity. It’s such a fancy way of saying I need a sugar mommy or a sugar daddy.”

He owns 25% so it looks like his share would be 300 mill

*EDIT including his share from the sale of aviation Gin, it seems Ryan Reynolds might be way more than a token small share owner. He has the cash to be a larger stakeholder.
