Seems like everything is happening behind closed doors and journalists have no info and are just guessing. Anything is possible is the basic summary of this interview.Mendes: I think there are multiple groups that feel confident, and no group has been chosen
The Athletic's Ian Mendes joins The Drive to bring the guys the very latest on the sale of the Senswww.tsn.ca
It's the summer, and reporters need something to report. They can't very well say I've heard nothing and there's nada to report.
I don't trust anything coming out of the Toronto media either after the Dubas firing. I doubt if any of these journalists (aka insiders) have any real sources and are just speculating. This stuff will go on behind closed doors as well and I'd think organizations are loathe to say anything and air their dirty laundry.
Kimels could be a good bidder but I can't see how the music thing has anything to do with majority ownership of a hockey team.As a fan of Weeknd's music I would be happy if the Kimels win out.
Its like the tail is wagging the dog with a lot of this now.
