Just because he is someones father doesnt erase history or the people that he wronged. I wont willfully ignore it sorry. We can agree to dissagree.I know what you're saying, I just don't like the idea of "we're so lucky" attitude after he passed away. If he sold the team, then yes, by all means, but to me the bottom line is he died and I don't really see that as a positive thing. It's not like he was Charles Manson or Bin Laden. We can still talk about the facts, and one of them is that he also saved the team by buying it back in time. And, no, I was not his fan at all in the past 10 years, trust me. I don't know, maybe I am getting soft as I get older :-D
I know bert, it's just we are talking about someone's father here, who relatively recently has passed away. I had family members who were acting stupid and I still never said "it's a relief" when they died.
Yeah. They chomp on the bitIt’s like a 2000 year old term referencing horses and the bit they put in their mouths when they are harnessed for a race.
Yeah Matt party even through on some Sens merch on screenMatthew Perry as well (most commonly known as Chandler from Friends). Ryan Gosling also spent years in Cornwall (close enough haha).

Excited about the potential of new ownership.

As much as i love Ryan Reynold if one of the other group has one of those Saudi multi billionaires who just want a sports team as a toy that they would put infinite cash into, i would much appreciate them to own the team LOL
read an article about a year ago about his management style. He as super user access to their email server. He will go in and remove meetings off people's calendars because it makes for good problem solving or some such crap.I don’t even think I want him as the owner, he seems to make very rash decisions lol Melnyk-lite
"chewing at the bite"“Champing at the bit”
no, it's important. Say "from England" to someone from Wales and you'll be eating a fist.Being a bit of an ass here, but... Wales*

Pretty sure the Terry Matthews number is a typo -- should be 1.69 billion.Ryan Reynolds net worth 150M
Matt Perry 120M
Dan Aykroyd 250M
Sandra Oh 25M
Alanis 60M
Tobias Lütke – 11.86 billion
Terry Matthews – 1.69 trillion
Bill Malhotra – 1.45 billion
and the Greenberg family - 1.57 billion
The main culprit of those posts seems to have disappeared. For months I kept coming across posts stating 'no one would be interested in this team. Who would want come to come to Ottawa to lose money?'
LOL
