I get the frustration but it’s still early. I’m more curious how they look after 20-25 games or so.

Just take a look at the scores over the past few nights. It’s still way too early to draw any relevant conclusions.

i pray lily gets the same shot as sandin. i know fans have their favorite players, but when practically this entire forum agrees lily was one of our best dman in the preseason that has to mean something, cuz its rare AF lol

So frustrating watching Muzzin and Holl. I think they've been on for every goal scored against so far. I could be wrong though. Neither could complete a pass to save their lives. Always a step and a half behind all night. Only thing positive I saw from either was when the puck was caught up in Zub's jersey, Holl cross checked him and knocked the puck loose. Pretty bad.

But I was told that they were one of the best shutdown pairings in hockey and the Leafs have one of the best top-4's in hockey.

Campbell is the real deal. Too bad his cap hit will skyrocket if he posts similar numbers to last year. Dubas sign him now or else he’s getting 5x5.5 maybe even 6 next offseason! If it’s between him or Reilly I choose him but the Leafs are screwed either way.

Ritchie was a waste of a signing. Horrible decision to bring him in for 2 years. Just way too slow and unmotivated for this level.

Spezza should have a greater role on the team especially with Matthews out.

Seems for few years we have issue starting games. Get a guy to put pads on do a period before gametime and there you go. You start ready. If you don't like it. Easy solve is start hard and coach won't have to work you before games

IMO I watched the first two periods and wasn’t impressed by mrazek at all, that third goal cannot go in no matter what.

He was lights out after those 3 goals where he was left out to dry. Very impressed hope he's okay.

You definitely make a good point. B2b first two games of year is tough. I can definitely cut them some slack.

Almost made a game out of it, would've been nice to steal a point or so.

I understand the fans who are upset for sure though. Even without Matthews, this Leafs team should be winning this game. Sens came to play no doubt, but Leafs should know this because they're 1-7 vs Sens home openers. Crazy stat.
