I'm not necessarily saying I would give it to him. I'm just talking about the narrative.

And in a tourney where there have been few individual standouts, I don't see this as being a tournament where the MVP is necessarily on the Champion.
There have been individual standouts.
Defensive ones.
Heck Williams is a better shout offensively.

And I disagree with your point about "there have been few standouts".
You did write that right?
In a tournament where every single major team has been playing insanely conservatively, I honestly have a hard time picking out standout defenders. And there have definitely been none who have 'captured the imagination' or whatever is required to win these tournament awards.

Saliba has been incredible. Playing out of position.

Ha yeah those two wide shots indeed.
So yes 5 shots.
Doesn't change my point about this game being level but yes Spain did shoot 5 times.
