A player only can get the POG only in one game, I think Godla already got it in a previous game therefore he couldn't get it this game.

That's what they've said, but looking at the list of players of the game (Link) it shows McDavid has been named twice, as has Georg Sorensen, the Danish goalie. So not sure why it was reported differently, or why Godla wasn't chosen.

not sure if it's true...but that is what TSN reported just after they named the "other guy".

I think Fucale will be the guy tomorrow. I doubt they switch to Comrie after tonight. Fucale made some very good saves when needed to, when the game was still 1-0 and even scoreless in the first period, and second period.

Great game. Just 1-0 past halfway in the 2nd, but then the Canadian offense unleashed. Petan was great, Ritchie-Gauthier-Crouse cycling was effective (though I don't think they got many shots out of it ) and Fucale made some key saves early in the game. Great crowd and atmosphere, and what a performance by Godla.
